Ayers didn’t seek emeritus status but said he thought the board made a mistake by not granting it.

He also said he has never dedicated any book, including Prairie Fire, the book in question, to assassins.

The book was “dedicated to some very weird people, starting with John Brown and Harriet Tubman,” he said. Sirhan Sirhan’s name is listed with dozens of others on a page in the book, which also reads “To All Who Continue to Fight” and “To All Political Prisoners in the U.S.”

John Brown and Harriet Tubman are American heros.

Ok I read it and any sick bastard who included the assasin on that list deserves only to be driven from society, should be no where near a school.

I am glad though, that this bomb throwing murdering anarchistic crazy now finds himself groveling around in a fight with academic buerocrats. May he rot in academic hell and eventually the real thing.

I hereby vow to my fellow Freepers that if I am ever diagnosed with an incurable disease, I will beat the living sh*t out of William Ayers so badly that he will spend the rest of his life urinating and defecating into bags attached to his wilted anatomy.

All I ask is that on my tombstone, a grateful nation inscribe the words, “He’s the guy who beat Bill Ayers like a bad drum.”

You are welcome.

I think this man deserves to be sent to Palestine with a dollar in his pocket and get it over with. These idiots want to change America into something they believe in so send him someplace where he fits in (preferably a miserable place) and leave us alone! And it is a disgrace these kinds of people can teach our children!

Ayers did seek emeritus status according to press reports.

“He retired effective Aug. 31 and then sought the emeritus faculty status, a largely honorific title that includes some benefits such as library privileges.”

I guess that dedications and greeting cards were the responsibility of his wife Bernardine.

Ayers: Book dedication a lie

. . . . trying to rewrite History?

[Thanks, Faith.]

Didn’t he also ‘dedicate’ to all criminals who had killed a policeman? I guess this is where the Southern Poverty Law Center came up with the lie to use against conservatives. I wonder what that hate group has to say about Ayers? And his dedication... My guess is: nothing. Peas in a pod and all...
