Do you really believe Rove has that much influence? You don’t think people can look at a candidate and make up their own minds? O’Donnell wasn’t a good candidate. Simple as that.As much as I detest Rove -- and I detest him a great deal, for many reasons, not just the O'Donnell issue (though that's a biggie) -- I have to agree with you.
How many DELAWARE voters said "well, I have to go with Karl Rove on this one"? Who would ever say that about Rove on any issue? How many people in America consider Rove their intellectual guide to anything? (Zero? One? Three?)
Same with NV voters.
Both those states just have too many liberals.
And both those states, unfortunately, had R candidates who couldn't win over enough of those liberals to win.
When Rove went on the attack, it turned into a media feeding frenzy.
There’s absolutely no defense for his behavior.
