“State has automatic recount laws so a consession does not end it.”

There will probably not be an automatic recount. Buck is losing by 1 percent now. Of course, if the race tightens an automatic recount will occur with legally binding results regardless of concessions. A concession now will avoid a label as a sore loser.

“Buck has a good chance to win. It may take another week to count all the votes the first time, and then a recount will probably follow.”

We don’t do so well in recounts - have you noticed? Wonder how many trunkfuls of ballots will be found connected to half way houses, cemetaries, illegals and prisons...

We can still hope and pray and hire our lawyers - but the RATS are experts at corruption and cheating and all the idiot propagandist press winks and nods and looks the other way...

Is the SoS a socialist?

“I think Buck’s problem is the same problem McCain had two years ago: too many democrats have moved into affluent areas of Colorado from the west coast and liberal areas of the midwest. Colorado is now a perpetual battleground state like Wisconsin and Ohio.”

With strong candidates and elimination of minor party candidates, Republicans could have made much larger gains in Colorado. Libertarian candidates may cost Republicans control of the state legislature and the senate seat.

Buck has a good chance to win.

I hope you're right, but I'm giving up hope in this state.

I feel bad about the Governor’s race, the US Senate race and losing some propositions.

On the plus side, we flipped the statehouse and every Dem congresscritter outside Boulder and Denver are gone.

I’ll take it!

It was a great night... we flipped the state house and the only Democratic congresscritters here left hail from Boulder and Denver.

Sure, I wanted more but from where I sit this morning, its good news. Our state is almost deep Red, Bennet is shaking in his pajamas and the new Dem Governor Hickenlooper is checkmated.

Can’t have everything!

Any contempt for the idiots who voted for Stringer, Napolitano, Miller and Moromisato or are you saving it all for Buck?

I agree! It wasn’t a perfect night in the sense that conservatives didn’t win all of the highlighted races, but we flipped two US house seats, the GOP and Dick Wadhams have been exposed and all know how truly weak they are, and the establishment candidates were eliminated before the election.

As I said in pp, conservatives have a lot of work to do in CO, and I have faith that we will learn from both the successes and failures in this election and apply them in future elections and campaigns.

Also, I do believe the SOS post went Republican

Will absentee ballots [military and other overseas personnel] make a difference? Have they been counted?

Will recount show discreptancies [illegal alien vote?]

I think fraud might be involved here, although not to the degree it is in Nevada. How could these polls be so off?

Again all you have to do in Colrado is look at jefferson County results and that pretty much mirrors the state the moment I saw Buck lost that county by 48-46 I knew he would lose by about 2 points this race is lost.

Conservatives underperformed the polls in every race, from PA to IL to WA to CA to NV to CO, to DE, to CT, etc.

To concede with more than enough outstanding votes to turn the election would be STUPID......

“Were you a Norton supporter?”

I voted for Buck in the primary because I disliked Norton’s attack ads. I would change my primary vote now though.

Ken Buck ran a poor campaign. A good candidate would have clobbered Bennet. Republicans won other state wide raises even against rat incomubents.

“Buck should concede. The election is over.”

Al? Al Franken - is that you?

“Al? Al Franken - is that you?”

Colorado is not Minnesota. The numbers do not lie in this race. Unless the Boulder County made a mistake by taking back 40,000 votes last night, the election is over.
