ATTENTION ALASKA POLL WATCHERS: Here's how Lisa will lose votes
October 31, 2010 | no dems

Spread the word to all GOP poll watchers in Alaska: When one writes in a candidate's name, they MUST ALSO DARKEN IN THE OVAL CIRCLE. If they don't do that, the vote does NOT count.

Keep a close eye, Poll Watchers and thank you for your service.

Do not cut the witch any slack in her "write-in" campaign.

Alaskans-—if you don’t vote for Joe Miller, write-in ‘Leeza Mircowsquee’ on November 3rd!

Now that it is out there look for the Alaska State Supreme Court to rule that the voter intent was to vote for Murkowski and the ballot is valid regardless of whether or not the oval is filled in.

I’m guessing that Dems would even go as far as writing in Lisa M. in spiting spite of Sarah Palin. They know things are going to be bad, so they may figure they have nothing to lose in an effort to send a message to the person/people they hate the most.

I tend to agree with you. I have a feeling this one is going to end up in court. Murkowski will not accept the votes of the people of Alaska (again). EVERY write in vote will be checked for “hanging chads” and fought in court.

I have no clue how such an entitled, spoiled brat has captured the spirit of a very conservative state in Alaska and somehow pulled back into this race. I expected her to be polling around 3% now.

After CBS’s recent underhanded tactics agaisnst Miller, I’d expect his poll numbers to jump just in time for the election. People don’t like to see a candidate attacked in such a way. Miller should benefit from the planned attacks that were supposed to derail him. He should beat Murk by about 4 or 5 percent once all is said and done.

Agreed. I live here, and I can tell that Miller rightly portraying himself as the victim of media malpractice plays well among those of us living next to the treeline. It’s also important to note that Alaskan politics is basically about elite Republicans versus conservatives, with the Democrats out there, somewhere, on the tundra, their snowmachine broken down, waiting for someone to drive by and pick them up.

This was the kind of October surprise that will work for Miller.
