Bummer. The last one flying. Mebbe they’ve still got some space at the Udvar-Hazy Air & Space Museum annex out at Dulles, VA?

The only time the Vulcan got to drop bombs in anger was over the Falklands. Just as well, as it was designed for nuclear armageddon.

I remember being impressed with how quiet they were. Huge machine too.

A beautiful aircraft - saw it at airshow several years ago.
It only had ejection seats for the pilot & co pilot - the 3 remaining crew members were screwed if it went down.
