Neal Boortz: 17 days away from righting our wrongs
By Neal Boortz

**SNIP**

Then we had companies like McDonald’s suggesting that they were going to drop their “mini-med” plans. Why? The mandated increases in benefits would be simply unaffordable. Obama moved quickly to offer waivers to McDonald’s and (why not?) to some of his union pals. So much for the law applying to everyone equally.

Now, 17 days before the election, we have a new poll provided to me by Fox News showing that 59 percent of Americans want ObamaCare either repealed or modified. This is not good news for the Democrats who voted for this atrocity. The only Democrats you can find campaigning on ObamaCare are the ones who are pleading to their constituents, “Hey, I didn’t vote for that thing!” So much for The Community Organizer’s principal legislative achievement. Now we have a federal judge in Florida ruling that a lawsuit brought by the attorneys general of 20 states on the constitutionality of the mandate can go forward. With any luck we’re looking at the beginning of the end of ObamaCare.

By the way, regarding that federal lawsuit. When Obama was pushing his health care takeover, he told George Stephanopoulos that the mandate was just definitely and absolutely not a tax and was not a violation of his pledge not to raise taxes on 95 percent of Americans. But just how did the Obama administration argue in federal court that the mandate was constitutional? Why, they said it was a tax! That one slipped by your radar screen, didn’t it?

Well, you have 17 days to wait, and then you can make up for your lack of due diligence.

I'm confused. I thought that our Republic, as empowered and structured under the Constitution consisted of three SEPARATE branches of Government that are mutually exclusive.
When Congress passes a law, the President doesn't get to amend it to his liking, he just gets to sign and then enforce it. Don't exemptions have to be written into the law itself? How can the executive branch propagate exemptions? Just asking.

We may be disappointed. After we elect a GOP House..will they really stand in the way and try and repeal Obama care etc. Or will they just become the tax collectors for the new welfare state. We need to warn these elected officials that the revolution has just begun and those that don’t follow thru will be road kill in 2012.

Me too. My fingers are so itchy, that I’m going to vote early, and I’m going to hand care the ballot to the election office.

Not according to a couple of federal judges.

This is not good news for the Democrats who voted for this atrocity.

My opinion is that that there is very little perception or acknowledgement of the scale of this atrocity. Right now it's just a political football, but this thing is going to explode.

The first day of RINO Kill (politically speaking, of course) is Nov. 2, not the last day.
Operation RINO Kill will most likely extend beyond 2012, so everyone should be planning for the long haul, and provision accordingly. JMHO

To repeal the democrats' government healthcare, the Republicans will need a 2/3 majority in Congress to override an Obama veto.

Republicans will need a super majority in the Senate and a conservative President in 2012 to repeal the democrats’ government healthcare.

The Republican congress of 1994-2006 never had a super majority so they couldn't repeal the democrats’ social security , medicare, medicaid, food stamps, unemployment benefits, etc.

With only a simple majority ,what the Republican Congress could reduce , discretionary domestic spending they did, proof:
Federal Spending, 2001-2008: Defense Is a Rapidly Growing Share of the Budget, While Domestic Appropriations Have Shrunk
http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=125

See where it says domestic appropriations shrunk.Shrunk means Republicans shrunk government. Yes defense spending went up but that was after 9/11 , 2 wars, etc and military spending is not government growth and is conservative.

The Republican Congress also stopped Amnesty and government healthcare for all their 12 years.

But you and many like you brainwashed by the liberal media believe the lies of the liberal media and say the same thing liberals do. Republicans did all they could do.They didn't spend like drunken sailors as the media repeatedly said and so puppets of the media believe.

I see "Operation RINO Kill" extending to at least 2016 and possibly past 2020 --- along with political obliteration of the Dems too. It's going to take that long to eliminate the infection.

I’m not sure it will be that easy. Remember Obama has veto power and he will use it. I don’t think we will have the votes to override his veto unless we can get enough dimoKKKRATS to join us.

We can slow him down and cut off funding and do those types of things but I think it will take one more election cycle(2012) to fully brings things back to square one. I think some here are setting themselves up for disappointment.

Actually, the Congress has been ceding their rights under the Constitution to the President for a few years now...and it is simply not Constitutional! I doubt that it will change overnight but with a decent Congress, things might change.

Our system of government has been changed by fiat lately and can not continue to exist as it has been. The Congress - specifically the House must take back its power to prevent the President from overstepping his authority. Of course that will only happen if Representatives actually understand and obey the Constitution. Hopefully, that will happen when a few Tea Party candidates get elected. If not now, it just might be too late...

This election and many following MUST continue to elect individuals that are Constitutionally aware and will perform their duties as outlines by the Constitution. If that does not happen, there will be an uprising against government...

You are 100% Correcto Mundo my friend.
Accepting all that you are saying, it easy to see that a problem which must be addressed by the ‘Tea Party’ aka average American citizens is this: The schools are currently be run by Communist, pure and simple. Tea Party must organize and put forward winning candidates for school board and college/university regents! The subversive government worker unions must be confronted, and destroyed, since that have been infested with commie vermin or simple useful idiots!
The Alinsky program has been in operation since the 60s, and most likely, as a result of JFKs assassination (I cannot prove that connection, except from timeline observation).
I doubt that the Tea Party can succeed without directing attention to the presently neglected and victimized youth.

Well, you do seem to be a bit outlandish here... Yes, the problem has to be addressed by the Average Citizen - not necessarily Tea Party, but someone who believes in the Constitution.

The schools are run by Unions NOT Communists... They have way too much control of teachers and that is what is killing the American Education System (That has to change).

We definitely have problems, but they are solvable with a decent Congress and an awakened public. You seem to be delving into conspiracy theories though and that is not healthy.

Believe me, the problems we face today are inherent in the power and money system of government, no conspiracies... just plain greed...

Already voted, we have early voting in TN, I was taking no chances that something might come up on Nov 2 to prevent me from being at the polls.

I know with certainty that communist have infiltrated these unions. The treasonous attitudes being propagated by university professors are 100% communist idolatry in content. The above facts have nothing to due with greed, but a lot to due with subversive efforts funded by such organization as The Ford Foundation.
The Alinsky program is real and functioning. How do I know?
I attend many meeting in the late 60s, where a book titled “Marxist Leninism”, printed in the USSR was used as a teaching book. Many related programs where being funded by the Ford Foundation. Black Power groups have been funded by The Ford foundation.
I am not dabbling in conspiracy theory, I am talking from personal experience and observation. Greed does not promote the kind of extremism seen in today's CommieCrate party, but it does enable and motivate the actors. Greed does not define or shape the content, but Alinsky programs do.

I should also add that the leader of the study group, who is black, and had been a pimp, took some classes, and became a professor at California State University at Fullerton. He had connections. People in high places placed him and other communist into university positions. I know this from first hand experience. This is not conspiracy theory, it is historical fact.

Not really disagreeing with that much... There are many Communists in the Socialist party. It is just that they are not now the major problem...it is the Unions, the Social Progressives, and a few others (and yes, including Communists). When the Communists come out and declare, then I may change my mind.
