If your gonna go dirty, why not go the full corrupt, eh??
I’ve noticed that Fox has taken to COMBINING polls to reach an AVERAGE to gauge races.
I wonder WHO at Fox came up with that bright idea? Especially with incidents like THIS.
You would need a fraudulent poll showing a big lead to cover rampant fraud needed to produce that big win
That poll, released on Friday, depicted Democratic candidate Joe Manchin leading Republican John Raese by 10 points. The poll has been met with skepticism throughout West Virginia, since all other polls done by nationally-recognized pollsters show a much tighter race, either showing a tie or either Raese or Manchin leading by 3 points. The poll was conducted for Marshall's journalism school by Orion Strategies, which is owned by Curt Wilkerson, whose latest work has been for First Congressional District candidate Mike Oliverio. As Oliverio's campaign manager, Wilkerson has engaged in a highly partisan attack campaign against Oliverio's Republican opponent, David McKinley.
University polls always suck but this was the worst I’d seen. I’d like for polls to geomaps. The problem with university polls is they usually are less diligent. One of the benefits of Rasmussen is large poll samples, automated Questions that avoid the interpersonal interaction that can inevitably lead to bias & tilting based on the desires of the interviewer.
I believe the race is closer now but if Raese just sticks to hitting Manchin on Obama he is going to win this. The worst thing to happen to this race is the involvement of the dumbasses at the NRSC.
My brother in law is in this business. He is quoted almost daily on FR. Since it is his business, he pays careful attention to polls and tracks their performance over time quite closely. Not all polls are created equal. The best are privately funded polls that we never see and he only seldom sees. Those folks are paid to be right. The others are meant to create news, advance the debate, or to support a partisan agenda. They vary in quality. Among the worst, are the academic polls for reasons that he has not explained to me, but has been a valid observation over the years. Surprisingly, the averages of polls including both the good ones and bad ones produce the best results.
Res ipsa loquitur.
No mystery about what’s going on here.
Nov 3 if their guy loses, they’re going to start screaming about voter fraud because their polls showed their guy winning.
I sent this link to the “RealClearPolitics.com” contact-us links ...here’s hoping they throw it out.
