Jeb Bush backers aren’t worried about George W. Bush fatigue (HUGE BARF ALERT)
The Hill, Washington, DC ^ | 2010-10-14 | Alexander Bolton

Supporters of Jeb Bush say Bush fatigue will not be a significant problem if the former Florida governor decides to make a presidential run.

Many Republicans think Bush would be a frontrunner for the Oval Office if not for his brother’s lingering unpopularity.

Jeb Bush said in July that he is not running in 2012, but supporters are looking down the road to 2016.

The trouble with looking down the road to 2016, let alone the trouble with being another Bush, is that it puts you into the camp of rooting for Obama in 2012. Shame, shame, shame!

Jeb lost all my respect the way he handled (or DIDN’T handle) the Terri Schiavo tragedy.

No more Patricians period! When did we become the Roman Republic, where you had to be a Scipio, or a Julius or a Cornelius to become Consul? The coronation of Bushs Murkowskis Kennedys and Cuomos has got to go.

Can’t believe Jeb Bush would ever consider running. He allowed the murder of Terry Schiavo.

He did intervene for his own wife though after she was caught trying to smuggle designer gowns into the country and not pay duty on them. Of course she got off scott free.

So what, are these people saying that we should just hand 2012 to Obama, give him another 4 years to devastate our country and then Jeb Bush comes in to “save the day” in 2016?

No! I think we’ve seen enough of Obamunism. SARAH PALIN, 2012!

Exactly. Jeb Bush belongs in the Dem party. He is certainly no conservative.

If you seek the reason that the GOP is finished, you need look no further than this quote.

I’m sure Jeb feels cheated by the fact that his (less able) younger brother became POTUS and he didn’t. But, y’know, life ain’t always fair. The Bushes have had two strikes—I’m not included to give ‘em the chance for three.

No Rinos. Jeb, as others here have pointed out, completely blew it with Terry S. He may or may not be a decent person. Whether he is or isn’t, whether he runs or not, he will NEVER have my support. As a Catholic, and a conservative, NEVER. He wouldn’t have a chance, and I would encourage, actively, everyone I know to vote for either the Libertarian Party or the Constitution Party, or the Chuck E. Cheese Party instead. It doesn’t matter how many in the media try to pump him up. Did I say never enough already? NEVER! I will vote conservatively. No other way, no compromise. No more McCains/Doles/et cetera.

I don’t think you have a clue. Jeb was a great governor in Florida, and will be a wonderful U.S. Senator if he wants to run against Bill Nelson.

George W. Bush was a real dummy, don’t judge Jeb because of GWB.

I don't want any more Bush’s either, but at the sports bar last night during the Ranger/Yankees game, they showed W at the game and the whole place erupted in loud and raucous cheers

Can’t believe Jeb Bush would ever consider running. He allowed the murder of Terry Schiavo.

Worse than that, he allowed McCain to win the Florida primary and take the nomination as a result.
