Is California Insane?
Pajamasmedia ^ | October 14, 2010 | Roger L. Simon

One of the famous definitions of insanity is repeating the same mistake over and over again while expecting a different result. Whether that’s a perfect definition is open to debate, but one thing is certain: it’s as accurate a description of the California electorate at this moment in 2010 as you could get.

How else to explain that Jerry Brown and Barbara Boxer are still leading Meg Whitman and Carly Fiorina by 5.4% and 3.3% (RCP averages) in a state where unemployment is 12.4% (not including the underemployed and the astronomical number that have already given up), and from which businesses are fleeing like rats from the proverbial sinking ship? Even the storefronts on swanky Rodeo Drive are standing empty.

California has become like Michigan, Illinois and NY; Gresham's law in politics (bad driving out the good). The bedrock middle class families have fled or are fleeing leaving only limousine liberals and people on the dole.

Still the CA migrants take liberal politics with them to CO, AZ, TX, and even WY.

Yes, it is a kind of Gresham’s law, but I doubt 1 percent of CA people have heard of Gresham’s law.

Is California insane?

In a word- Yes!

The average person here is simply too stupid to grasp how bad things are and how bad they are gonna get. Probably the best thing to happen would be for CA to default. Then maybe people would get it through their thick skulls. But I doubt even that would work. We (I live here) have reached something I like to call terminal stupidity. It a state of denial where even if you wanted to fix the problems, you are too stupid to know what to do. That's where we are at.

Barbara Boxer and Jerry Brown are simply symptoms of the problem. The problem in California is Californians.

The normal, decent Californians are held in slavery by a well organized democrat party machine of la Raza, corrupt government unions, welfare parasites, the gay mafia, the Regime Media, and unrepentant marxists.

At least a plurality and most likely a majority of California is insane. As more sane people leave the percentage of insane goes up.

What about the fact the Californians citizens have plainly stated and legally defined term limits for the governor. We do not want a governor to serve 3 terms. Yes, the law does not apply to Jerry Brown since it only goes back a couple of decades, but what about the spirit of the law ? We do not want a three term governor. We have made that abundantly clear, but what the people want seems to be of no concern to the Democratic Party.

Yes. But then again, I believe the whole nation, and the world has lost its mind, so that´s not unique.
