A writer for the gay advocacy blog AMERICAblog Gay says that when he applied to be a participant at Thursday afternoon's MTV/BET town hall with President Obama, MTV representatives asked him for a "lighter question."

The girl who asked the Boxer/Briefs question was the daughter of a Viacom company journalist. They sat at the kitchen table and discussed what to ask Bill and settled on a question about drug legalization.
The screeners then demanded something more tame ergo the light hearted "Boxers or Briefs" question.
Easy, they are both perverted.
You mean, even in this staged event a (gay) sympathizer to this tyrant is asked not to ask hard questions?

Our president is a mental midget. That fact cannot be hidden anymore behind lofty degrees from Ivy League schools. He was 100% affirmative action, which is probably why all his transcripts are hidden. He and Joe Biden are actually a very good pair. But are dimbulbs and neither is very witty.
He misunderstood - they meant "in the loafers".
"What lighter question would I ask the President -- something related to pop culture perhaps."
Obama took questions from both audience members and via Facebook, Twitter and Skype.
(The online questions were picked in advance by the Democratic National Committee).

During the primaries, Hilary was asked at a town hall, “Diamonds or Pearls?” I thought she was from Pokemon, but she later said that she was told to ask that, and it wasn’t what she wanted to ask.
Hillary’s Q&A (and debate?) appearances are supposedly heavily scripted with the Queen getting advance review of all questions before they are asked.
