The Republican rallying cry during this election season has been a promise to "repeal and replace" ObamaCare. The problem is that through at least 2012 President Obama would veto any law repealing his signature health-care legislation. What, then, can Republicans do in the next two years? Look to the states.
After November, more than 30 Republican governors (many newly elected) will have the opportunity to resist the legislation at the state level. They could refuse to implement the health-care exchanges that are the core of ObamaCare. Doing so would force the federal government to step in and run the exchanges for the statesa chore that would slow down federal implementation of ObamaCare but fail to provide any alternative solution to insurance coverage problems.

Agreed... This is ONE approach. Even though Zero will veto the repeal and/or replace, the Pubs need to send him something to veto early & often...
If Zero wants to play politics for the next 2 years, then let him... Gridlock is just fine as he and the DemonCrats continue to govern against we the people...
Second, when the GOP wins control of Congress next month (oh, that sounds so sweet!), allocate exactly $0.00 budget dollars towards the existing legislation.
Let it die twisting in the wind...
I wish I had the time to read the whole article, but NOT. BFLR
Comment though is that any form of government run HealthCare is unsatisfactory as it is expansion of government of which our goal should be to reduce the Fed, NOT expand it.
Anything that expands our government beyond the scope of the founders is unacceptable IMO, and yes we are already beyond that scope as I see it.
Defund, repeal, whatever it takes we must reduce the (Feral)Federal government to its original intent.
That is the rub — give Obama and his bureaucratic minions two years to promulgate rules and regs and the government noose on the entire health care system will be so tight that it will almost be impossible to legislate the ACA out of existence. The red tape will get so bad that a single payor system will look attractive, and that is the Socialist's ultimate goal.
And the republicans are starting to back track on what they’re saying they can do.
HEADS UP EVERYONE: Per Fox News, a big ruling takes place today in Florida ANY MOMENT with a federal judge regarding Obamacare. This is the big one with the many states. Fla. AG McCollum will be out to talk soon per M. Kelly. She said “MAYBE THE ADMINISTRATION KNOWS SOMETHING WE DON’T BUT THEY ARE ALREADY TALKING AS THOUGH THIS IS A LOSS FOR THEM TODAY. MAYBE THEY DIDN’T PRESENT THEIR CASE VERY WELL.....”
OK.....so defund the bureaucrats so that there are none to write regulations.
