CNN executives say they want to give Eliot Spitzer and Kathleen Parker's week-old discussion program time to grow. But perhaps they're reconsidering in light of the show's performance Monday night, when it drew just 311,000 viewers at 8 p.m., according to Nielsen Media Research, far fewer than it had any night last week following its Oct. 4 premiere.
The low numbers for "Parker Spitzer" helped give CNN its worst average primetime ratings in 10 years. (See chart below) As did "Larry King Live," whose exclusive interview with Afghan President Hamid Karzai wasn't enough to give him more than 196,000 total viewers at 9 p.m.

That headline really isn’t fair. I think Kathleen Parker deserves a lot of the thanks.

Hold the course CNN. Yes, Spitzer is and will be a drag, but eventually the eye candy aspects of Kathleen Parker will kick in and up the ratings.
Stay with it CNN. Spitzer, your format and political ideology are all proven winners!
IF they fired all of the libtards and and made it THE conservative station, they would own the ratings. They could bury Ted Baxter (O’Reilly) with a Michael Savage Show, destroy Hannity with a Mark Levin Show, and eliminate Greta with the Ann Coulter Hour.
But they will continue to put the “C” in Communist.
I watched about 10 mintues of the Parker Spitzer show last week. They were discussing what type of tatoo different politicians might get. Son and I had a good laugh and then changed the channel.
Whoever came up with the “The RINO and the Luv Guv Show” idea should be canned.

She is bad enough, but who wants to waste time watching that perv Eliot Spitzer?

I agree . Spitzer probably brought his 3% audience share to the table; where was Parker’s 2 1/2 % ?
