Police Look for Link Between C4 Explosives in Manhatan Cemetery and Bizarre Note...

"Police look for link between C4 explosives in Manhattan cemetery and bizarre note found nearby"

SNIPPET: "Eight blocks of the plastic, military-grade explosive, formally known as Composition 4, were found in a black plastic garbage bag just inside Marble Cemetery, on E. Second St."

SNIPPET: "The explosives were buried near the back wall of the old cemetery, and Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said "you could reasonably glean from that that it was put there to threaten any structure" on the other side.

The back wall of the cemetery abuts some brownstones and is about 100 feet from the notorious E 3rd Street clubhouse of the Hell's Angels motorcyle gang.

According to "Hell's Angels: Three Can Keep a Secret if Two are Dead" by Yves Lavigne, the biker gang stockpiled C-4 in the 1980s and one Manhattan member roams the nation teaching other gang members how to use explosives.

The C-4, wrapped in a black plastic garbage bag and buried in area away from graves, was dug up more than a year ago by a caretaker who didn't know what it was and put it aside against a tree.

There the deadly package sat, apparently undisturbed in the heart of the busy East Village, for 16 months."

SNIPPET: "Kelly said a strange "rambling" note signed "Jesus Christ" was left Sunday on a patrol car outside the 9th precinct on nearby E 5th Street.

Cops said the note said something like "stop putting Christ on 2nd St."

"It did make some reference to 2nd Street and it had some religious statements in it," Kelly said. "Investigators at this time don't see a connection between the note and the explosive.""

SNIPPET: “A gardner dug up a garbage bag containing military-grade C-4 explosives at a historic Lower East Side cemetery last year, but left it at the site until someone called the police this morning, authorities said.

The NYPD Bomb Squad responded to the call at 10:51 a.m. after a device was found at Marble Cemetery on 2nd Street between First and Second avenues.

The sticks of C-4 were found stuffed in a black garbage bag.

“There is no ignition device,” said Police Commissioner Ray Kelly.”

Ah, it's making sense now. Thanks Cindy.
Looks like the detail about the note was put into the article as part of the ongoing anti-Christian agitprop campaign by partisan media shills.

Some folks HAVE been professionally trained to use C4, and can own and use it safely.

Personally, you won't see me passing up free game meat that can be acquired without harm to others and no risk to myself, but my training was more culinary than explosive (I don't run with Lefty and his buddies). Wild pigs in Texas, beware. No license required. Bwahahahaha.

Ray Kelly said that C-4 is used in construction.

Either he is dumber than a box of rocks

Or he is a lying sack of Bovine Excrement

“after a device was found “

Bad reporting. Suspected device, yes, but explosives without a firing train is not a “device”.

The gardener remembered digging this up and said nothing? This case is taking on odd proportions.

Keeping free explosives is stupid?

Think about that real hard.

If I walk up on a bag of C4 with no detonation potential
you can bloody well bet that sucker is coming home with me.

An anonymous call might be made if it was in a sensitive location.

Likely not.

I used to go to the Catholic high school right next to that cemetery. That was a rough neighborhood in the 70’s, and I can't imagine it got any safer since.
