Obama advisor David Axelrod appeared on CBS Face the Nation this morning and was grilled on unsubstantiated accusations made by President Obama and the Democratic National Committee — which originated with left-wing groups – that the Chamber of Commerce was secretly taking foreign money to fund its election campaign ads.
The New York Times has already panned the allegations as “spin”:

Good point. There appears to be no evidence backing up Barry and Axelrod’s crackpot claims. It’s pathetic that two years after Bush has been out of office that Barry and Axelrod can’t come up with any valid talking points, but rely on nakedly false allegations about Bush Administration officials.
Foreign donations........ That’s rich! Maybe a little digging into the origination of all those credit card donations that supposedly came from students would be in order.

I do NOT want to be irreverent. But I really wonder if there has been a cold snap in the nether regions beyond the grave?! Bob Schieffer actually fired a couple of fastballs and sliders when interviewing a democRAT, instead of the underhand-tossed cottonballs he USUALLY lobs to them!
interesting how they used the “loophole” of not reporting any campaign contributions under 200 bucks, and massed tens of millions of dollars by who knows?
I heard that exchange. Really surprised that Schieffer took it to Axlerod and pressed the point. Axlerod's only response was "we don't know":
SCHIEFFER:...foreign affiliates dues ... bring in less than $100,000 a year. A lot of organizations, including labor unions, do that. But the Chamber has an annual budget of $200 million. Along with that it keeps these foreign dues separate. They do spend heavily in politics — $25 million so far. They expect to spend $50 million. But this part about foreign money, that appears to be peanuts, Mr. Axelrod. do you have any evidence that it’s anything other than peanuts?
AXELROD: Well, do you have any evidence that it’s not, Bob?
Classic smear tactic, insinuate a violation of campaign law, make the innocent appear guilty and make them respond in defense.
I think this is the October surprise. For one, it is October. Two, they need something vague and general enough to smear every Republican running. It’s not like they have a single presidential candidate to work with.
Oh boy, right now Bob Schieffer is on C-Span hosting a forum on “civility” by pitching softballs to David Axelrod. Axelrod is going on about how civil he is, then will go back to his office and craft Monday’s talking points about the evil Boehner and Rove engaging in fictitious evil deeds.
My thoughts exactly—Hussein and his cult leaders must be reeling, now that See B.S. “News” and the Old Gray Whore are calling them out as liars.

No proof - just something holding me back from unalloyed celebration....
Is there a less controversial group in America?

I just finished that book. Its unreal how much of this admn comes directly from that book.
My business is going to rejoin the US Chamber of Commerce as they are fighting for the American Business and the American way of life.
Obummer and team need to be removed from office as they are the most unethical group to ever have fooled the American public.
Axelrod and company have really crapped on the American business community.
