yes, we have judge against judge.
What the U.S.S.C. could do is refuse to hear it and leave it up to each state to decide.
Richard Lugar’s aid on health care contacted me after the Senator read my letter to his staff.
They are cogniscent of the fact that there are many thousands around the country who do not purchase health insurance on Religious conviction grounds.
Not a fan of Mr. Lugar, I am impressed that he is taking this matter seriously.
Also, the aid wrote to me that there is no teeth in the law to collect penalties (for not purchasing) from self-employed people.
He said many of the rules have not even been written yet, and that Mr. Lugar’s office is watching the rule-writing process very closely in an attempt to prevent the implantation of teeth.
Is that you, Mr. Medved?
“Hey, its a Michigan Fed. Judge “
Another Clinton appointee?
Oh wow, one Federal District Court Judge says this mandate is constitutional! It would be funny if the MSM would pleasure themslves this much discussing the several other Federal District Court Judges who said the states do have legal standing to challenge this crap.
This will eventually get to the Supreme Court. The federal government will never be able to justify that this is allowed under the Commerce Clause, or the Power to Tax.
I like your thinking!
>Starting in 2014 not having healthcare will be a felony, NOT civil disobedience.
Well then, it looks like we’ve got an outer time-limit on when the Second Civil war is going to kick off: 2014.
I mean honestly, how many people are going to think “Hell, I’m unemployed* and can barely afford food... if I’m going to be a criminal it may as well be for killing some of these bureaucratic bastards.”
*employment will not recover until government rules, regulations, and taxes are relaxed/decreased (manufacturing & refining are in particularly bad shape) and the government stance is such that an increase in those hardships is likely.
