At least six schools in Houston ISD received suspicious envelopes today with a white powdery substance that initial inspectors have determined is cornstarch.

The Houston Independent School District has sent the substance to the city health department for follow-up testing to make sure it is the basic cooking material and is not, in fact, hazardous, according to HISD spokeswoman Sarah Greer Osborne.

The schools that got the envelopes were Alcott, Anderson, Alemeda, Browning, Bastian, Barrick and possibly Blackshear, she said.

At first it sounded like a not-so-funny school HS prank...
using cornstarch for a "anthrax" scare...
Not much different than some idiot kid yanking the fire alarm.

Looks like some moron just grabbed the first six names in a directory. I’m guessing either disgruntled student or ROP, in that order.

Speaking of HISD...they have a security program for parents who wish to volunteer called VIPS. It will accept the matricula consular cards.....think about this a minute.

With the track record of the HPD, STILL haven’t figured out who or what torched 30 mil worth of voting machines, this is questionable.

Especially if it leads to the Islamofascist imbedded in Houston.

They are saying that it may be as many as 13 now and apparently someone started a couple of small fires in one of the other schools. Busy Friday. They all need to be shut down and the Board fired.
