Thanks for the kind comments, FReepers. Besides working more hours than ever before, I have spent the last year as president of a Kiwanis club. That responsibility has just ended, so I hope to have some more time to be back here.

If Californians had nearly as much sense as Floridians did, then Whitman would be “Moonbeam” Jerry would be sinking in the polls just like Allen Grayson is after his “Taliban” ad fiasco.
