Late September 2010, Republicans send their pundits, spokespersons and gnomes out to tell the world what an upset the midterm elections will be. Yessiree Bob, this is gonna be a blowout for Republicans – according to Republicans. The new Republican Pledge to America is a good thing and it addresses many of the problems this ideologically driven Marxist White House has created. The problem is that Republicans still seem to be “for” Republicans rather than “for” the people. It has become fairly obvious that most Republicans still don’t get it. Read the rest of this entry »

There is something seriously wrong with *most* people who run for office. Almost all of them see themselves as future presidents.

I come to judge a pol by his haircut and I've concluded I don't like Eric Cantor.

This November, though, vote for the Pub regardless of what a jackass he may be.

No, but if all the Republicans are willing to do is shrink Washington to 2008 post-W levels, it doesn't really matter.

I caught part of the news conference on the Pledge last night on CSPAN. I thought it was impressive, and there was discussion about fidelity to the Constitution.

Over the last fifty plus years, the Republicans have earned the reputation of screwing the people through favoritism to corporate concerns.

The Democrats have screwed the people through big government policies.

Corporations can be dealt with and chosen, tyranny in government leaves little option of choice for people or corporations.

Oh, I’m glad they’re at least talking as though they’re paying attention. NOW they can’t complain when we hold their feet to the fire.
