GRANTS PASS, Ore. - Two people are under arrest in connection with a bank robbery in Grants Pass Monday afternoon.

The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety says 37-year-old Erica Fay Anderson robbed the Umpqua Bank on Midland Avenue at about 2:15 p.m. Monday, and then went to pick up her two daughters from Highland Elementary School.

Authorities say she presented tellers with a demand note, and then fled with the cash. However, they say an alert citizen turned in a description and plates of a suspicious vehicle that investigators connected to Anderson. She was arrested at her home.

Conserving gas by combining errands into a single trip. What's wrong with that?

I understand they found her do-list: 1) gas; 2) dentist appointment; 3) rob bank; 4) pick up kids.

I never know which eye to look at with people who have one eye that wanders a bit, as hers appear to do in this highly complimentary picture.

we're laughing about folks doing criminal things and still taking care of their kids and while I don't know any bank robbers I have known some of these.

1) get kids up and feed them.

2) see they brush their teeth and dress them

3) take them to school

4) groceries and stuff for school lunches

5) tend to the marijuana garden we have in the basement to greatly supplement our income growing kryptonite or blueberry kush etc

or get back to the bank to work more carefully on that money I've been embezzling for months

or get ready for that stockholders meeting where I will criminally deny or fabricate data to keep my company stock from collapsing...this one has happened to me..Phycor..a healthcare outfit here in Nashville

or go punch in for that Union job down at the new state project my union forced the general contractor to buy just so the union would supply say pipefitters or iron workers

or get to my job at Wardaddy's car wash so I can steal another 1-2000 from him this month by selling his tokens myself or bypassing his cashier..he'll never know...even though that dummy has cameras watching me..

6) go shopping for school clothes or myself

7) pick up kids

8) taekwondo for the kiddies

9) home for dinner, some TV, homework and nitey nite

is any of that much different really other than a gun robber is more violent..

PS..any smart bank robber knowing the law would use a note and not imply violence....1/3rd the time if caught

She should have added “buy a hairbrush” to the list.

I’d put robbing the bank at the top of the list for things to do. I mean if after all you’re going to be doing some shopping or picking up your clothes from the dry cleaner you’ll be needing the cash obviously. And by all means of course pick up the kids at school.
