Quinnipiac finds Republican gubernatorial nominee Carl Paladino surging into contention. He trails Democratic Attorney General Andrew Cuomo by a narrow 49 percent to 43 percent margin. This is the first likely voter poll that Quinnipiac has conducted, so it is hard to determine what kind of trend there is (if any). One wrinkle to take into account is that Conservative Rick Lazio isn't tested, which may result in the poll overstating how close Paladino really is. Regardless, this race isn't looking like the blowout we've been seeing for most of the cycle.
On Monday, Rasmussen Reports found a bounce for Paladino as well. In that poll, he holds Attorney General Andrew Cuomo to 54 percent of the vote, while taking 38 percent of the vote for himself. But, like Quinnipiac, Rasmussen didnt include Rick Lazio in the survey...

WOW! Carl did not screw around with throwing Prince Cuomo off his smooth ride to Albany and it paid off. We need other GOP’ers get the message to attack with both barrels and knock these Socialists/Maoists out early before their lies take hold. I hope O’Donnell’s people are watching this.
I am smokin’ impressed by this guy! Talk about plain spoken and direct. Gotta love it.
Anybody have an idea how high residential property taxes is in New York state?
Score on for Dick Morris.
All the toughness of Rudy without the gay roomates and Sylvester the Cat voice.
Even the close races we lose are important. It makes the rats spread their money around just defending their home court.
I can’t wait to hear his next add about Cuomo lying. Hahaha
in my Roch NY home - 3br 2 1/2 bath on 1/3 acre - $5500....and this is on the west side of town which is blue collar
“Anybody have an idea how high residential property taxes is in New York state?”
My house is assessed at just under a hundred grand. In reality I would be hard pressed to get 80,000 for it.
My property taxes last year were just under 3 grand.
Wanna buy my house?
I hope that Lazi. backs off.....so sick of these egotistical boobs.
Same thing happened to Rand Paul. He was debating his opponent who called Rand an extremist. Rand shot back---you are a "Democrat."
Rand's numbers catapaulted to a 15 point lead.

PALADINO'S STRATEGY AGAINST CUOMO
Blast him as a longtime Albany insider, not reformer.
Blame him for sparking the subprime mortgage crisis while he was HUD secretary.
Rip him for not opposing Muslim cultural center and mosque near Ground Zero.
Highlight ties to special interest groups, including Working Families Party (ACORN).
Try to bait him into losing his cool.
Wow! That's high.
$458 a month? How much is the house worth? My gosh.
Should also add tie him to Obama and his unpopular legislative agenda..! Would be icing on the cake.
Anyone remember this goodie, Cuomo as HUD Secretary bragging how he and the Clintoon Administration were forcing banks to make subprime mortgages?

Go Carl Paladino!!
Waiting for Carl to bring up Cuomo’s connections with HUD and why not tie in his relationship with Gillibrand as his pet as she served as Special Counsel to HUD during his tenure. Heck why not bring up Countrywide Mortgage Company.
Oh, so many webs they weave when they try to deceive.!
