Before you were elected I really did not know what a community organizer was. Thank you for educating me on this topic. I have been using this new found knowledge to educate and organize my community with the goal of voting you out of office at the earliest possible opportunity. In the meantime, we are focusing our efforts on the mid term elections, specifically with the goal of voting out the Democratic majorities in the House and Senate that have allowed you ram through your agenda against the will of the American people. Unfortunately, your own voting base have been the hardest hit by your failed agenda, and I empathize with the suffering you have inflected upon the record number of Americans thrust into poverty since your election.

The Commission did NOT fire Mr. Zakkout. In the first place, no State Advisory Committee (SAC) member “works for the Commission.” The SAC members are appointed by the Commission, but are not paid, and serve as voluntary members of entities, SACs, that are entirely separate and not supervised as to content of any advice or report. The SACs are required to conform to certain procedural standards, of course, but these are not content-based.

Mr. Zakkout was merely not reappointed to the Florida State Advisory Committee (SAC). There is no guarantee of reappointment for any SAC member, and there can be many reasons for nonreappointment. No inference should be drawn from his non-reappointment.
