WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama and his family attended an hourlong service Sunday morning at a church just across the street from the White House.

Accompanied by his wife, Michelle, and their daughters, Malia and Sasha, Obama strolled across Lafayette Square to attend St. John's Church. Sasha held her father's hand as they crossed the park.

A Muslim going to Church. How odd.

About as odd as an America-hating, islamofascist in the White House.

"Man, I'm in an Episcopal Church? "

"The Muslim Botherhood's gonna throw me and my prayer rug into infidel hell."

There are no comparisons as to how out of place they are.

"Say, Michele. I'm looking at my sinking poll numbers. Uh,
don't make any plans for Sunday mornings from now on."

It’s an attempt at damage control after he and his clan took so many vacations.

Baraq is not religious.

That’s my view - the gig @ Wright’s hate place in Chitown was for networking and street cred.

And practicing Muslim would be far too much work for a slacker like him.

From the OT :

Amos 8:4-7(8-12)

Hear this, you that trample on the needy,
and bring to ruin the poor of the land,
saying, “When will the new moon be over
so that we may sell grain;
and the sabbath,
so that we may offer wheat for sale?
We will make the ephah small and the shekel great,
and practice deceit with false balances,
buying the poor for silver
and the needy for a pair of sandals,
and selling the sweepings of the wheat.”
The LORD has sworn by the pride of Jacob:
Surely I will never forget any of their deeds.

After the service it was reported that Obama asked why the church doesn’t point to Mecca.

From the Psalm 138:

5
All the kings of the earth will praise you, O LORD, *
when they have heard the words of your mouth.

6
They will sing of the ways of the LORD, *
that great is the glory of the LORD.

7
Though the LORD be high, he cares for the lowly; *
he perceives the haughty from afar.

From a letter from Paul

1 Timothy 2:1-8

First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and dignity.

From Luke 16:

“Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much; and whoever is dishonest in a very little is dishonest also in much. If then you have not been faithful with the dishonest wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? And if you have not been faithful with what belongs to another, who will give you what is your own? No slave can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

After the service it was reported that Obama asked why the church doesn’t point to Mecca.

when collection time came up, he tossed an I.O.U. into the basket alone with a copy of his plan to eliminate the tax-free status of only Christian organizations....the moslems , of course, will continue to be treated as a religion, even though they are as far from a religion as communism is.
