It's true that Rasmussen began including "leaners" in his totals after Labor Day, and the earlier Rossi poll was taken before Labor Day, but still, his campaign must have been aware of the numbers, and so must have Rove and the NRSC, RNC, MSM, etc.

So why are they going after O'Donnell as unelectable, when Rossi, whom they deem electable is failing?

This MUST be the talking point - Let's compare and contrast Rossi and O'Donnell: Who was the more "electable?" Who is responsible for the Republicans "losing" the majority in the Senate?

I would put the blame on Rossi for losing the Senate, not O'Donnell, because Rossi has run for the Senate and let his win be stolen from him by a corrupt recount. How come Rossi isn't a perennial loser but O'Donnell is?

Correction: Rossi ran for Governor, another state-wide election, and let it be stolen from him by a corrput recount.

I don’t understand the whole Rossi thing, or why Republicans in Washington State comport themselves as weak and apologetic. Rossi needs to get some fire and quickly. The “I was a janitor at the Space Needle” is not cutting it. Go for the jugular already!

Rossi and Castle were both Cornyn's handpicked candidates. As a political operative, Rove was probably involved. Rove was unquestionably involved in trying to make sure O'Donnell didn't win the primary.

They're going after O'Donnell now because they're annoyed that the little people (the voters) had a different opinion on who the candidate should be in the general election.

It can be argued that Washington voters nominated the more moderate candidate in Rossi over Clint Didier. According to Rove and the other Rino hacks’ theories, that alone should guarantee a GOP landslide. Washington and Delaware aren't that different in voting patterns.

Rossi ran for Governor twice - 2004 and 2008. The election was stolen by corruption in King County - of the Acorn variety. It was VERY convaluted and Rossi did not just lay down. It was very infuriating.
