The saddest thing about Rove's meltdown on Tuesday is that, in hindsight, it was so unnecessary.

Rove was upset that O'Donnell's defeat of Castle is what put the Senate out of reach of Republicans. However, if Rove had waited just two more days for Rasmussen's Washington state poll to come out, Rove would have learned that Patty Murray surged ahead of Dino Rossi, also taking Washington away from Republicans and putting the Senate TWO seats down.

So, here we are at the end of the week where Rove could blame EITHER Rossi or O'Donnell for "losing" the Senate.

It's not all on O'Donnell's shoulders anymore.

Rove was arguing that O'Donnell was not "electable." Supposedly, Dino Rossi WAS electable, according to Rove.

So we now have "electable" Dino Rossi losing 7% against Patty Murray since the last Rasmussen poll and turning a +2% advantage into a -5% loss in just a few weeks, which blows away any credibility that Rove can call ANYONE "electable."

That's why he should have known better to speak the way he did. Given the Rossi poll, I hope Rove has a change of tune and gets on his knees and apologizes for his lack of faith on Tuesday night.

O'Reilly just had K. Rove on his program. As soon as this has been showed, I shut the program off.

I also sent off a quick note to FOX programming letting them know that anytime Rove shows up....the channel will be changed.

K. Rove is through.

And....no, I don't think my opinion by itself is going to change anything....but if there are enough of "me" out there....then it sure will.

For whatever reason Tokyo Rove at this point, chose to reveal, leaving no doubt, he is one of the enemy within.

Old racer adage - "Run what you brung."

Here's another take on it: "Dance with the one that brung you."

In spite of the polls, in spite of the dirt Cable was slinging, O'Donnell won. The people have spoken: O'Donnell won. She is now the duly elected cadidate for the republican party. If Rove is such a stalwart party man it would have made more sense for him to swallow his pride, jump on board and promote O'Donnell.

What purpose did it serve for him to go postal on national TV just because his favored candidate took a good old fashion butt whuppin'? Is he as thin-skinned as Obama?

Rove may believe O'Donnell is unelectable but he also believed she was going to lose to Cable. Tea Party backed candidates have been beating the early polls with regularity this season and it's not beyond belief that she could turn the numbers around in the next seven weeks.

The Arcitect said the Democrats, "would pick her apart on personal "issues". And he then proceded to lay out the strategy for them to do just that.

Now Rove has added an extra burden to O'Donnell's campaign and given the democrats plenty of ammo and talking points. If his goal was to make sure his prediction of her loss is validated he just took a big step to fulfill his own prophecy.
.

This is surprising only because RINOs typically act by what they don't do, rather than this kind of open action. RINOs don't fight, RINOs don't question, RINOs don't organize, RINOs don't coordinate, RINOs don't explain, and as a result, they deny effective response to the active, openly destructive Rats. That's their job - they're saboteurs.

But the Tea Party movement has the collectivists so freaked out at this point, even the RINOs are coming out from underneath the bed to scream in fear.

"Fasten your seatblets, it's going to be a bumpy night."

On what bases does anyone assign political genius to Rove?

He took a GOP Congressional Majority and possession of the White House and turned it into a absolute political minority.

His only claim to fame is winning 2 Presidential races by the skin of his teeth and being completely wrong in his forecasting before the 2006 and 2008 elections.

Sorry but I see no evidence of any real “genius” from Rove other then that at marketing his reputation

Hey, Karly boy—Christine is a much better candidate than Jorge Arbusto, the one who with your guidance barely beat Al Goreleone and Lurch Kerry.

Karl has one purpose: to advise the party what to say, where to appear, how to behave, and who to schmooze to get elected. His purpose is only to win. He cares not one wit about US citizens, or their pain or suffering. He simply studies them so he’ll be able to manipulate them for those who would pay him. He’s no different than the ragin’ whats his face. They just entertain different clients (but not much different).

Karl got egg on his face in Delaware. When he loses, it lowers his marketability to the fools what hire him. That’s why he’s pissed.

For him I have little but contempt.

It’s going to be a very interesting senate. I hope she gets elected. I just listened to her speech to the Values Voters and it was terrific! You could tell she wrote the speech herself, she’s not practiced, but boy is she sincere.

Karl Rove's political street cred is beyond dispute. He's the guru who, to the dismay of Democrats and liberals still clinging to their hanging chads, guided that cowboy from Texas, George W. Bush, to the White House — twice. When he speaks, people listen.

Ah, yes, those squeaker wins after 8 years of the Clintons against "no ruling legal authority" Algore and "I voted for the war before I voted against it" Jean effin Kerry. Impressive. /s

I just wonder. Could it be that Karl Rove did this on purpose? Could it be that her realizes that all these BAD THINGS are dirt that the liberals and democrats had on Ms ODonnel. By coming out and maybe running through the list and really hitting her hard NOW she is somehow immunized from this coming out in dribs and drabs or in a surprise fashion in October or just before the election.

So say they accuse her of lying about her resume... "Old news, lets talk about the issues.."

What about your failure to pay taxes..."Old news, just repeating what others have said.... lets talk about the issues."

Boyfriend bought house that was foreclosed on...."there you go again with that old stuff. Can't you talk about the issues? We're here to help Delaware and all you want to do is partake in the politics of personal destruction and OLD NEWS.

this might just be an example of using the democrat technique of immunization to scandal as "Old news" "nothing to see here" . hahahahahaha.

Maybe Rove is a "magnificent bastard" after all. just maybe? Spread this around and see what others think.

Why are you attacking the messenger instead of addressing the message?

All I have done is give you a simple recitation of the facts.

Unlike Rove, I have give the sources for the facts on Rove contact with Castle's camp.

Rove, on the other hand, is allowed to go out and make accusations, with no factual back up and we are simply to accept his accusations as "facts"?

Why does Rove get a free ride to spread his slanderous attacks on O'Donnell? Then when the documented evidence is presented by O'Donnell why is Rove allowed to simply ignore it to continue his slanderous statements?

Why is Rove to be held immune from any consequence for his actions?

Why is Rove allowed to go on national TV day after day, with no questions asked of him, demanding a standard of conduct from his political foe, that he himself has not live up to?
