Yes let us MAKE you save $5 a year on electricty by forcing you to buy a $1200 appliance the next time you need one. What they really want to force you to do is go buy that appliance NOW so they can call it “stimulus.”
Just replaced our washer and dryer after 24 years of service. I fully expect the new set to last as long. By the way, the old set still works, just getting along in years and we figured we had better pick something up before the economy went totally to pot.
Sad but ture—and what pray tell happens if you do not have the money to buy a new appliance-if they lowered the $2,900.00 which my husband has deducted form his paycheck in taxes monthly maybe we could afford a new appliance.
