An 11% spread among independents is insufficient to make up the raw difference between Democrats and Republicans.
Even so, it's a happy sign for O'Donnell for the moment.... but that's before she's had to campaign against her opponent. That lead among independents hasn't really been tested yet.
If the Republicans do not get the Senate, the blame will be squarely on Karl Rove, Charles Krauthammer, Mike Castle, and all these elitists who can’t imagine the people. the unwashed masses, messing around with the membership of their exclusive politician/media/lobbyist club.
It is they who will have swung enough voters to pass over conservative candidates who don’t meet their elitist standards. The thought of having senators in Washington who won’t return their calls or invite them to their gatherings is too much to bear.
These people - Rove, Krauthamer - are parasites. They sit around all day on their pompous a$$e$ creating nothing, just shooting the BS and getting huge sums of cash for it. They will build no briges, mend no bones, raise no crops, sell no cars, paint no walls, create no drugs, invent no widgets - they just preen around and tell the rest of us how to live our lives, finance their life styles, and reward their friends.
The O’Donnells must win just to reduce these parasites to insignificance.
