You know, I have no brief for Michelle Obama. However, I see no good reason for Mrs. Sarkozy to blab something that wasn’t the kind of thing you want published in a book. Mrs. Sarkozy doesn’t need the money or publicity, and someone might decide to write a tell-all about her one day, and she will have no standing to complain.
Maybe she just can’t stand her and wanted to get back at her for being such a low-brow poser.
Maybe Michelle said or did something to Carla and Carla decided to get even.
