“Remove the emotion from the discussion...”
Thanks for your comments. The Tea-Party has the ball, time to run with it.
Good Tea Party moves -
- Marco Rubio, excellent candidate
- Joe Miller, excellent candidate
- Mike Lee - in Utah we should run the most conservative person we can find period.
Risky Tea Party moves
- Sharron Angle - was at a fundraiser she did in NYC, she was underwhelming to say the least
- Christine O’Donnell...
The Tea Party’s future hangs in the balance of the Nevada and Delaware elections.
I agree. Time for the RNC to practice what’s it’s been preaching for the past 20 months. We need to drag them, kicking and screaming to a majority.
O’Donnell’s supposed character issues can be explained away fairly easily. She’s undoubtedly more socially conservative than her state, but if she can hold to a tea party message and platform she’s a chance of sticking long-term—because I believe she can and will get in in November. Angle, I think will settle down nicely as well.
The potentially embarrassing supposed tea-party candidates are those such as Paladino—who almost seems sent from Democrats’ central casting false caricature of the movement. Note that DeMint, Palin and the Tea Party Express are nowhere near that guy.
