Yes, people can disagree. One of my best friends from childhood is a flaming liberal, so we just agree to disagree and move on.
The Ugly People, though, put words in your mouth to support whatever grudge they may have and that's just low.
When they start slinging crap accusations such as my supporting Alex Jones and believing that the US caused 9/11, they prove they have no real argument against you, so they create one. That's classic Ugly People behavior.
When another one comes out of nowhere to call you a coward and "spineless," that's obviously someone who has always felt inferior and when they finally see a pack mentality going on, they join in order to assuage their feelings of inadequacy against someone who has never done them any harm. What's hilarious is when you give them a bit of their own back in the only way they'll understand, they howl with righteous indignation, believing they were justified in their unprovoked attack on you, but you are not justified in returning fire.
These people demonstrate how low and unrefined they are with those posts. They behave more like liberals. It's good, because now I can see who's been holding grudges without my ever having provoked them and I can write them off as Ugly People.
I don't associate with people like that in real life, (in fact,I'm thankful that I don't really know any), so I'm certainly not inclined to associate with them on here.
I had FReepmails form a lot of people asking me to stay, so I'll stick around for now and just write the Ugly People off. I have no room for them in my life and I hope they all eventually learn better methods of discussion and get over their inferiority complexes.

I figure it's a good way to identify 'em all now, so I know who to ignore and not waste my time with during more important events like the elections.
I followed the exchanges Saturday and then caught this response today. Two terms made me laugh and will stick with me long after the other details of the many exchanges have been forgotten:

The Uglometer caught my eye, and when I went to see what it was in response to I saw all the goofiness you were put into the midst of again - had to laugh. There must be some target on the forehead of your posts that I just can’t see or something. Regardless, I love the idea that this identifies the clowns - a FR version of “yes, the enemy has us surrounded - we have them right where we want them.”
Why thank you ! It's night for me now, but today was a good one.
I had been kind of sick Friday and Saturday and was pulling 14 hour workdays the past week on a stressful project (which thank goodnes, was completed yesterday) and was in no mood for the Ugly People.
FR is one of my links to home and I have lots of wonderful FRiends here (some of whom I am blessed to know in real life) and I just didn't need all of that viciousness.
Now that I'm well, my sense of humor has returned and I'm just laughing at the Ugly People. :)

What's funny is that people sent me some hilarious "ugly" graphics on FReepmail for me to use.
It reminded me that most FReepers are good people and several are very talented and clever as well.
The a$$clowns are definitely the minority and are best ignored or laughed at. :)

Seriously, Allegra...you’re behaving badly, and making yourself look bad to the community.
You seem to be on a rampage, aimed at no one in particular, which says to me that something is terribly wrong. Perhaps a break is in order. Take a trip or something. Anything. Just get away from the computer for a while, and get outside.
