Ah, so this is why the Dems have no problems letting the Bush tax cuts expire for the 'wealthy'...because they don't pay their taxes anyways...

I don’t understand this....at my agency you get in trouble if you owe back taxes.
To: Qbert
Over 20K apiece for the bums in the whitehut who owe taxes. That seems like quite a sum. Seemingly, there is a withholding problem there...how about some penalties and interest on top of the money owed, for starters. Next up, who is the employer? Underwithholding by the POS in charge means he has some liability too.

What? We're expecting the left to spend THEIR OWN money on their garbage policies? No way! That's what the unwashed tax slaves are for.
So, get over it and get back to work you slackers. Oboma wants more of your money.
To: Qbert
My first question is: is their government pay being garnished for back taxes, and if not, why not? (Not to mention the fact that they should be kicked out of their government jobs onto their asses, if their back tax liability has been established as correct).

Bwaahahahahahahahahahahah yeah RIGHT!

This is crazy. The highest paying WH job pays in the mid 100's, I believe, and those are the most senior advisors. My guess is that the average pay for a "White House Aide" is probably somewhere in the $60k-80k range. In 2009, to have a tax liability of $20,268 (the average of the 41 aides),
taxable income is $93k. And that is for single filers. Married filers would have taxable income over $100k.
Are they not even withholding?

Why doesn’t it come out of their checks? I guarantee you that if any of us owed it they would find a way to collect (plus penalty & interest)!

In the House of Representatives, 421 people owe a total $6,524,892. In the Senate, 217 owe $2,774,836. In the IRS’ parent department, Treasury, 1,204 owe $7,670,814. At the Labor Department, where Secretary Hilda Solis’ husband had some back-tax problems before her confirmation, 463 owe $7,481,463. Eighty-one workers for the Federal Reserve System’s board of governors owe $1,076,733.
Over at the Justice Department, which is so busy enforcing other laws and suing Arizona, 1,971 employees still owe $14,350,152 in overdue taxes.

I've got a different take on this one. To me, it seems as if these folks were discretely told they don't have to pay their taxes. Then, after time, they become loyal slaves to the powers that be because they are now breaking the law, and if they aren't ideologically pure to the one, they are then held accountable for their tax burden.
In other words, this is how The administration ensures loyalty

Wait, the LA Times and the Washington Post are reporting NEGATIVELY on Obastard’s White House and their sense of entitlement? This can mean only one thing; Obastard is being thrown under the bus and will NOT be their candidate for the 2012 election.
Get ready for a Hildebeast candidacy.
