As a matter of public policy, the issues on which Ken Mehlman exerted his retrograde influence within the GOP are not about his personal behavior. They are about the truth or falsity of the great principles, the self-evident truths, from which the liberty of the American people derives. If there is no natural right, no natural family, no ways of God reflected in the nature of mankind, then there are no unalienable rights; no principle of justice that requires their security; no authoritative basis for the rightness of government based on consent; no claim to self-government, of, by and for the people.
By treating these gravely serious issues as purely personal, leaders like Steele prove that they are blind to the crisis such issues portend for the nations conscience, heart and life.
Or are they? By purposely corrupting, confusing or discrediting the moral ideas on which the peoples liberty is based, an ambitious elite can prepare for the day when, of its own accord, democratic liberty succumbs to dissolution. That is the day on which untrammeled elitist power will replace the constitutional sovereignty of the people.
Months ago I wrote about the fruitless running-in-place that characterized even the best of the locust eaten years of the Bush dynastys predominance over the GOP. The Partys well intentioned but mercilessly deceived voter base must awaken to the real source of the GOPs treacherous ineffectiveness. It is not Ken Mehlmans sexual proclivities but the Party elites complete abandonment of the moral basis of the constitutional republic. If the people they continually betray do not wake up, a Republican Party victory in November will do little to help America avoid the fate spelled out (as I have said before) by the Partys purposeful charade of insincere and ineffective action- R.I.P.

Like I have time to read something from the carpet-bagger whose ineptitude allowed The Big O to get his initial foothold onto the national stage....
And Mehlman/Wallace/Schmidt are holding a gay marriage event next month.
What the heck are they up to? Right before the elections? Are they trying to help Dems win?
Pound sand, newbie.
No wonder you're so frickin' ignorant.
bttt
That turned off enough Illinois voters it just handed everything that hadn't already been stolen over to the Democrats. Then Hastert went soft on the gay issue regarding who managed the House pages.
Keyes was not instrumental in the total meltdown of the Illinois Republican party.
The leadership of the Republican party has been usurped by homosexuals. "They" put Mehlman in his office to further their homosexual agenda.
Sheesh, and people called -me- a tinfoiler 'cos I voted for Bob Barr.......
Keyes had Obama’s number years before most anyone else.
And all he got was abuse from the Republican Party for having the guts to expose it.
Obama and his minions didn’t have to do much of anything. They had unprincipled GOP operatives and the media to do their dirty work for them.
It’s been common knowledge that Mehlman was a poofter for more than ten years. Don’t buy into the new narrative. It’s an obvious lie.
It seems now that in the wake of the stench and sleaze of X42 and the feckless cruel elitism of the "ONE" that only a man like Keyes can save what is left of the republic...
Yes, and by extension, amnesty for illegal aliens and tax increases to fund "compassionate conservatism."
.....only a man like Keyes can save the republic....
Then we are in worse trouble than I thought.
At a State Department ceremony this week, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice warmly acknowledged the family members of Mark Dybul, whom she was swearing in as the nation's new global AIDS coordinator.
As first lady Laura Bush looked on, Rice singled out his partner, Jason Claire, and Claire's mother. Rice referred to her as Dybul's "mother-in-law."
We have really consumed the politically correct Kool-aid so that when you have folks telling you the truth, the media says its “hate speech” Thats the problem Mono...
IBTZ!
I blame the judge who allowed that bit from divorce court to go public,
“just because it would be interesting”.
He knew that this would cause the outcome that it did.
Unfortunately, ignored by the Republican Party.
