I kept looking for a concession but it only came in a statement from one of his campaign spokesmen. I am not aware of a courtesy call being made.

McPrick can go f’himself. This akin to buying most of the raffle tickets and gloating you won. To quote Mark Levin: “McStain is a MENACE. AZ will live to regret this choice”.

And why should he? McCain launched an unprecidented filty campaign against JD, lying about him, misrepresenting things JD did, and spent $21 million dollars smearing him. Let McCain buy his own congratulations.

” ‘... but the traditional pol to pol post-election call is still in order.’
“Why?”
Because we live in what purports to be a civilized society. Because in politics there is such a thing as good sportsmanship, however observed in the breach. Because NOT to call to concede, congratulate, and wish well is a sign of a very small person.
AND because no one forced JD to run. He has had some successful campaigns under his belt. He’s a professional politician who knows the game and the rules. He knew the odds of going up against a long-time incumbent. It was his choice to run.
AND you can bet your bottom dollar HE received a concession call in every successful campaign he ran, and would have expected that call from McCain had this race gone the other way.
No one is saying JD has to endorse McCain, but he should do the gentlemanly thing and make the call.

Unless some kind of intervention avails upon you, you will one day, in the not so distant future, wake up in a very white room with your arms strapped behind your back.
Take deep breaths and let it go.

I posted McCain's record. I know what he is. he is a lot better then any of the senate Democrats. Last fall people like you were blasting me because I urged that people vote for him over Obama. I stand on that advise.
As thing are now, I have my doubts as if the USA can ever recover and the Marxist has been in office less that two years.

Then work on your legislature to get rid of the open primaries. The Dems used to rule that state when I was living there and I summize they used this open primary thing to make sure they never had a strong challenger get into office to screw up their gig.

Two days after being trounced in the Arizona GOP Senate primary, former Rep. J.D. Hayworth still hasnt called Sen. John McCain to congratulate him. It looks like the better man lost this primary. IMO, has-been McCain should have retired with dignity; he is worn out and inconsistent in policy making. I am amazed at the apparent lack of enlightenment of the Arizona voters. Oh, well, that is nothing new.

He should definitely concede gracefully. I'm surprised that so many people agree with acting like a sore loser.

People focus on the Immigration Reform Issue which is important and a deeply flawed vote.Does Cap and Trade sound familiar? How about Campaign Finance Reform? How about Global Warming? How about America "Torturing" prisoners?
McCain isn't your ordinary RINO, he spent $21 million to convince people he never supported, voted or even thought of any of those things.

Yes, it is proper etiquette for the loser to call the winner and congratulate and wish the winner well.

So, it is a custom to be a hypocrite and wish the best for your opponent? Who made up that rule?

I agree...but it's not war like it was when enemies respected each other..and gave them respect.
Frankly I think it's past the time for nice.
I have some other thoughts...but they aren't very respective of McCain. And I will leave them unsaid...for now.
To: Osage Orange
"Frankly I think it's past the time for nice." Long past time. We play nice and get screwed in the process.
