Compliance in AZ too... ID required to vote.
Bump.
8 States require photo ID
Florida
Georgia
Hawaii
Idaho
Indiana
Louisiana
Michigan
South Dakota
18 states require ID but not a photo ID
Alabama
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Connecticut
Delaware
Kentucky
Missouri
Montana
North Dakota
Ohio
South Carolina
Tennessee
Texas
Utah
Virginia
Washington
So, that leaves 24 states that do not require any types of ID.
And I bet most have the largest liberal deadbeat population.
Gee, CA, NY, IL, MI, OR, and all the East coast states just to name a few.
Correction on my above comment, MI does require photo ID.
As proper protocol as a responsible and proud citizen of my city, state and country I here in California alway put forth my Identification when checking in at my polling center and the look is “do not put that near me as I am afraid I will be sued because I the poll worker asked you for it”..... I always then reply, I just wanted you t see how my name is spelled.......
The rats don’t care what the voters want.
Here is another one... why is it in 2010 that every action the government takes is in the MINORITY....? How many actions or in-actions are taken up for the smaller percent of the voter populous. Something is terribly wrong here.
If they did that which Social Security number would Obama use to vote. The one he is using now that was issued to a dead person in CT????
The other 12% couldn’t speak English and were unable to respond to the poll question.
I think you should have to present a paid property tax receipt and picture ID. Only property holder should be allowed to vote.
Also, in many places you don’t need to prove citizenship when registering to vote.
You did some great research on voting requirements, maybe you could check on the above — how many states do or do not require proof of citizenship to register to vote.
Thanks.
In CA you can register to vote by mail, without showing any ID or any proof of citizenship.
Ping!
They already did, it was called the "Motor Voter Law" championed by Dianne Feinstein. Now anyone can vote if they show up and point to a name in a registration book.
You answered your own question.
More important, maybe Congress should investigate who's financing these rabble rousers! < /Pelosi rant >
Already being done, but only for military, mind you.
So far I have only found 2 states that require proof of citizenship.
1. Arizona
2. Georgia as of May, 2009
3. Tennessee as of May had a bill requiring voter applicants to prove their citizenship status passed both chambers but died in conference committee.
