I've heard several reports over the past few days the trip is being funded by taxpayers dollars.

Definitely a victory Mosque. Just check the name, “Cordoba”. Cordoba was Islamic Spain’s capital before the reconquista. It’s meant to show that the 3rd Muslim Expansion is well underway.
