And the margin will continue to grow...

The left will remind middle America, every day, why they don't like commies.

Where will it be on Nov 2nd? That is the key question. I just hope our resolution is just as strong as it is today. Mine will not change!!!

First, I must start with my usual caveat. We should take nothing for granted and work three times harder today than yesterday.

That being said, my gut is telling me there is going to be a November rout that will absolutely shock the media in this upcoming election.

True, but when any rino gets swept in with the conservatives, a primary will be in order.

THe RNC and all the rest of the GOP need to be reminded that backsliding to the Left and center can reverse this trind.

Also consider that this poll was taken at the tail end of summer vacation. Alot of people are still away and unable to be called by pollsters.

Imagine what will happen after Labor Day when people return after stewing over Obama vacations and 911 mosque while sunning on the beach somewhere.

The republicans have had so many issues served up on a silver platter that they could knock any one of them out of the park if they get off their butts.

I guess the current strategy of “rope a dope” is working just fine, so what do I know?

Now all the republicans need is a conservative leader.

Still a people’s movement, which, btw, I just love.

We should take nothing for granted and work three times harder today than yesterday.

Agreed. The added-benefit is that the harder we work, the more lopsided the rout. I would love nothing more than to see non-stop Congressional over-rule of every stinking veto that comes out of the White Hut for the next (hopefully) two very-short years.

No worries - the MSM has told us that the Democrats know about this, so they are forewarned, and therefore will win though to absolute victory, or something.

Perhaps in the long run obummer and his minions will be good for America — that is if they don’t murder her first!

Unfortunately, I don’t see 2/3 quite happening. Take care.

Agree. I'm not entirely comfortable with Speaker John Boehner as the sole face and voice of the conservative leadership.

When we win in November, it will be absolutely required for congressional conservatives, not just the leadership, to promote their agenda. Stay on offense. Threaten and impeach Fudge Vaughn Walker. Make the Left defend their destruction of all that is good in America. They must saturate cable, radio, and conservative newspapers and blogs. Ignore the old lib media, their viewership is in steep decline.

If conservative House members do not go immediately public with opposition to all things Obama and rat, the angry Left will determine the envelope of debate and flay them alive.

Also consider that this poll was taken at the tail end of summer vacation.

Makes me wonder, though, how many folks are actually taking vacations of any length, considering the economic climate right now. The sampling may be more accurate than we may give it credit.

Throw in the impact of the enthusiasm gap (which is not reflected in polls like this) and the actual results at the voting booth could be even more dramatic.

Like all the analysts out there, I'm having trouble taking the numbers at face value. But if I do, and count in the enthusiasm gap, and shoot for a mid-range estimate rather than being instinctively cautious, I suspect we are looking at something like a 100-seat pickup in the House, not 30 or 40 or 60. Not to mention picking up just enough support to seize the Senate, unless the Dems can build a last-ditch defense in a couple key races.

The question for Republican then will be, do they implement real change, or give us more Democrate Lite like they've done in the past?
