He was always referred to, after he killed Robert Kennedy, as “Jordanian.” I doubt anyone ever tried to call him an Israeli, even if his birthplace may be in the areas annexed by Israel after the Six-Day War.

Thanks to Debbie Schlussel for getting it right. There was a post here from some media source about the multiple Flint stabbings of exclusively black victims, calling the perpetrator “white.” Then, today, upon his arrest, some media stories described him as “Israeli.” Well, it turns out that that he's a Palestinian Arab. Typical MSM spin!!!
