The quran forbids fermented drink of the grain or the vine, I don’t believe hopps falls into either category.

What about the malt in beer? Beer is water, malt, hops and yeast. It’s Satanic. Ask any Muslim or God fearing Baptist. I’m neither but I spill it on the ground after running it through my kidneys. It’s evil.

All I know is I saw plenty of completely sh*tfaced Saudis drinking in the bars in Bahrain while I was over there. They drive across the bridge (where apparently their all-powerful Allah can't see them) and get hammered in the Bahrain hotel nightclubs while cavorting with Russian prostitutes.

Good times!

The Koran is not the only guideline for Islamic Law.
Under Islamic Law it is written as any beverage that intoxicates when taken in large quantities is unlawful in small and large quantities, whether it is wine, raisin drink, or something else.
