Diddy Calls Martin Bashir Racist After Interview
dimewars ^ | 8/4/10 | dime wars

In other Hip Hop News, mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs openly called journalist Martin Bashir a racist. In the Aug/Sept issue of Vibe Magazine, Diddy addresses the interview with Nartin Bashir on CNN. The issue of Vibe features Diddy, Rick Ross, and Janelle Monae on one of the alternate covers and Dr.Dre and Eminem on the other. Martin Bashir is best known for his "Living With Michael Jackson" interview in which he portrayed the King Of Pop as a monster. Diddy was especially pissed off over questions over his $300,000 Maybach birthday gift for his son's 16th birthday.

“There were times in the interview when I had to give him an ultimatum. The questions weren’t being handled the right way. In hindsight, when I saw him I shouldn’t have done the interview because I know the style of interview that he does. The whole thing about giving a Maybach to my son, that’s really like a racist question. You don’t ask White people what they buy their kids. And they buy ‘em Porsches and convertible Bentleys and it ain’t no question. It’s really a racist question and put things back in perspective with money and the way that people still look at you. And I’m not saying that consciously he’s a racist. But he probably don’t even realize that he would not ask Steve Jobs that. He would be like Steve Jobs has that money and that’s the gift his kid is supposed to get.”

Let us know what you think about the Martin Bashir interview below in the comments section.

I wouldn't have minded a maybach for my 16th birthday.

Only a $300,000 Rolls Royce Maybach ?, why not his own Carnival Cruise Liner?

Diddy has a point in this case. He is getting a peek into the MSM lib ruling class’s attitude.

It is a Mercedes, not a Rolls Royce and it is an ugly ass car.

I also don’t care for how you get in and out of the back seats.

It awkward.

The solution is to not do interviews with Diddy, and don’t give him the publicity.

You can move uptown, but that doesn't mean you leave the chip-on-the-shoulder behind.

If you did you wouldn't be a Liberal anymore.

Interestingly (or not) enough, it was reported earlier today that Bashir is leaving ABC’s Nightline for NBC to host be a contributor to MSNBC, and to anchor a daily program on MSNBC. I can’t wait to watch. /s

This wasn’t racist questioning at all.

Just a few days ago, wasn’t everyone wanting to know how much Bill & Shrill spent on flowers for The Overbite’s wedding?

What should tick off Diddy is that his kid won’t appreciate the gift, and that this car will be wrecked within the net 2 months.
