The federal government's position in the Arizona case is, I think, outrageous. The Obama administration has decided to abdicate its most basic constitutional responsibility by failing to enforce the nation's immigration laws, and now it demands that the states do nothing to protect themselves against the invasion of illegals that federal nonfeasance inevitably encourages. This attack on the most fundamental police powers of the states is, to my knowledge, unprecedented. (MichaelRamirez) sums up the untenable position in which the Obama administration seeks to put state and local law enforcement.
Duh _bummer has set us on a failing course, thats his legacy, failure at all cost. What I don’t understand is after all of his direct lies to America we still debate if he is lying..he really is a scumbag..
Why, that’s none of the peons’ business if the Emperor does not want to “protect the states from invasion.”
I’m not a lawyer, but it seems injunctions are different. She didn’t hear the case. She heard a motion for an injunction. She didn’t decide the case. She didn’t hear the case. She decided on an injunction based on her judgement of the likely outcome of the case when it is heard. I think there are plenty of examples of injunctions in lower courts while a case is pending.
I blame the Democrats in Congress for not forcing the President to enforce the laws of this country.
But why?
Are we hearing the Republians screaming at the top of the lungs? Are we watching as the Republicans cluster in large groups to force the Democrats to action? Are we hearing the screams of the republican leadership as Obama makes null and void any thought of States Rights?
Must we arm ourselves and lead a revolution to get our politicians to do their friggin jobs?
It appears that if we want the United States to survive we must take back our country from the politicians of both parties by force. This is becoming more apparent every day as we see that politicians of both parties are more interested in getting re-elected than in protecting America and it’s citizens.
He can only handcuff the states if they acquiesce to it. If they stand against him he is powerless. We need governors and state Attorneys General with balls.
AZ is doing good work in that regard. In my opinion Sheriff Joe Arpaio has it right, again. Just arrest those guys and go on about your business. No need for a new law to do so. No need to fight with the feds. Just do it.
I think, in addition to being cowards, they are stupid.
I'm convinced this is the answer. Get a few states tstand up and it's a whole new ballgame.
Any ordinary person can see that obuma has sided with invaders and criminals and against United States citizens. He never talks about the civil rights of Americans because he doesn’t believe in freedom or individual rights.
lol I dont get it...States rights are going out the window and people dont care...where is the outrage..
Even on FNC the videos they show of demonstrators are all pro-illegal alien and attacking the Arizona law. I guess the media considers that the only point of view that respectable people can express.
There is something else that could be done. Governors could stop enforcing other federal laws. What about the laws regulating truckers on the highways? Weight limits, hours of service, record-keeping requirements, all of these are enforced by State and local officers on the highways.
It seems doubtful to me that failing to enforce these rules would result in any more damage to the country than the federal failure to enforce immigration laws.
Governors should research every federal law that is currently being enforced by State officials, and then announce that as of a set day, they would follow the rule of the Arizona case, and stop enforcing those federal laws.
Gee, I think that would be a Saul Alinsky tactic (find out what the oppressors say they want to do, then make them do it). Wonder how the Left would feel about tit-for-tat?
Ping!
Yeah, what yoe said...
Can anyone name the European leader who wants to revokes citizenship or removal of any illegal threatening police or leaders of that nation?
