Did you steal it from the cow, milking under fraudulent consent? Or is there something else you want to tell the nice Freepers. I never asked and Grandma never told;)

So far, the comments here miss the point.
The cops probably are duty bound to write the store up, but a raid with guns drawn for such an offense is absolutely over the top.
Who ever set up the raid should be canned.
This is the type of offense that could have and should have been settled by an inspector, who then would simply file charges with a court summons delivered by a deputy.
Idiots who have been to too many Rambo movies.

Very wise words. I couldn't agree more.
The universal rule is that you do not ever draw a weapon unless you are ready to use it. These cops were going to kill someone over unlabeled milk?
Did they actually expect a firefight in a raw food store. ‘Put down the goat milk scumbag...and get on the floor’ WTH?
I think the store has a viable lawsuit, just from being threatened with live arms and the way the thing was handled. Very overblown. It just doesn't work that way.
Next thing you know they will burst into your house, weapons drawn, to see if you removed the tags off of your cushions.

Who would buy milk without any labeling?

Sometimes I’m for gun control. Who gave those fools guns?

"Then, guns drawn, four officers fanned out across Rawesome Foods in Venice. Skirting past the arugula and peering under crates of zucchini, they found the raid's target inside a walk-in refrigerator: unmarked jugs of raw milk."Key word is UNMARKED. Raw dairy is legal for sale in California, but regulations (including labeling) must be followed.
I see. I guess that's all right then for the government to threaten to kill people for not labeling food correctly. Sometimes I'm a little bit behind the times of the current status of the police state. Thanks for helping to clear that up.

I agree that a bunch of vegan raw food hippies with unlabeled raw milk is a rather poor choice of a raid to go in guns drawn.
But I just have to comment that one of the most asinine superstitious ‘trying to sound like science’ pieces of crap I ever read was the “Enzyme Nutrition” book that these raw food nutzo’s read like the Bible. What a big steaming pile of bull excrement!
But then again I guess nobody ever accused vegan raw food hippies of being smart, and their children sure won't be. Bunch of anemic scrawny short underdeveloped brain indoctrinated twits, arguing that their diet is superior despite its OBVIOUS defects.

Why would anyone believe anything this stupid reporter says?

I doubt that their guns were really drawn. I’m thinking it’s creative license on behalf of the author of this fluff piece.
