Sen. Jim Webb is calling for an end to government-run diversity programs, saying they've only disadvantaged poor whites and hurt the cause of racial harmony.
In a column that appeared in Friday's Wall Street Journal, Webb argues that diversity programs have "marginalized many white workers."
He argues that the programs now jump new immigrants over similarly situated whites, and that diversity efforts now slight black Americans who were their original beneficiaries.

Agreed. Webb knows he will lose in the next election cycle. He also knows his party is now the party of “hate whitey & kill them cracker babies.” The Democrats legacy.

I think Webb is just tired of being ignored.
Remember, they all voted in lockstep with SanFranNan & Mr Peepers in support of the Kenyan Konnie's liberty-destroying agenda.

That is just a knee jerk reaction and it exposes your ignorance of Webb and how he arrived at that conviction.
Other places on this site I have explained that I’m not a water carrier for Webb; just read the book “Born Fighting” and you will see how he came to his opinion regarding ‘diversity’.

I get your point. I read the book a few years ago and this statement is in line with the book’s theme. At the risk of a flaming, I have no problem with some kind of programs for genuine African Americans, not Jamaicans, Nigerians, and especially certain Kenyans. And I would add something for Native Americans. But there it stops. Those two groups suffered at the hands of govt, everyone else suffered predjudice. If no programs for Irish Catholics, then no programs for Dominicans, or Muslims.
Doesn’t matter what he writes. I’m not voting for him. Can’t wait to actively work against him.
Next year I lose my Medicare Advantage and he voted for me to lose it. He also voted for the people in Florida to be able to keep theirs.
