The NAACP has approved a resolution condemning what it calls "racist elements" in the labeling of a popular Irish beer. The vote has sparked a war of words between the black civil rights organization and Guinness & Company, the maker of Guinness Stout.
At the center of the controversy is NAACP objection to the use of the word stout to describe what some refer to as a black beer.
Guinness Stout beer is known for a distinctive dark color and a flavour derived from the use of roasted barley. The most popular beer in Ireland, the Guinness brand enjoys world wide sales totaling $4 billion U.S. dollars annually.
The fray began when NAACP President Benjamin Jealous overheard a patron at a hotel lobby bar ask a server for a black beer. Jealous took offense to what he called an obvious racial slur on the part of the customer purposely said in his presence.
Jealous was at the hotel for an NAACP meeting. It was latter that Jealous said he examined the label on the bottle of beer and saw it contained the S word.
"We must expel racism in every form, said Jealous. One cannot reasonably conclude that the use of the word stout on a beer that is black is an accident. We will no longer sit quietly and ignore the obvious.
The NAACP resolution calls on Guinness & Co. to immediately change the offensive labeling of the Guinness & Co. product Guinness Stout and to dedicate 2% of its advertising budget in the U.S. to promote racial sensitivity among Guinness customers.
Guinness & Co. issued a statement in response that read, He is bad that will not take advice, but he is a thousand times worse that takes every advice. A good laugh and a long sleep are the best cures in the doctors book that and a tall glass of Guinness Stout.
Pretty good!
Very funny. Drink it and Samuel Smith’s Nut Brown Ale all the time. Look at the bubbles in a glass of Guinness notice anything funny about them as opposed to say Bud?
You see, if Black people simply exercise their imaginations, they can find racism everywhere!

Wrtten by Mike Spoof : )
Good one
Never actually could see straight by the time my head was on the bar staring at the bubbles in my glass of beer.
What is the difference in the bubbles?
Quite a spoof.
But did you know I once worked at a place where the black people actually got an official edict that we were no more to talk about “blacklists” because in some fashion that carried the implication that black people were worse than white people. What it actually said is that some black skins were pretty darn thin.
All screams of wacist by the NAACP should have to be seconded by the NAAWP, before being recognized as wacist!
Almost like a joke that wrote itself.
What an under-educated ignorant provincial buffoon he is showing himself to be! Probaly one of the Liberal educated squealers who got all upset about the use of the expression ‘Tar Baby’, because of his worthless and useless Liberal education, never even hear of the Uncle Remus and Brer Rabbit stories much less had to read them, in his half assed liberal dominated and run schools. Too busy learning about what a victim he’s been all his life. Raised a racist “victim” from the cradle by Lefties.
Good spoof.
Good thing the bartender didn’t hand him a Schwarzbier, eh?
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwarzbier, btw - a fine beer style!)
As Bugs Bunny would say,”What a Maroon”
Actually, this is not that far from the truth. I know you think this is an obvious spoof, so it doesn’t need labeling.
But remember, these people have taken exception to the term “black hole” (as in money disappearing down), the word niggardly (as in the old norse word for penny pinching) and tortured people because they absentmindedly tied a knot in the string of their hoodies.
Did it ever occur to them that they are slowly eliminating the word ‘black’ from the English language?
Youre not too far off; theyre playing the same game the American Indian played, by commandeering certain words as privileged for that group only, and must be licensed by others.
NAACP/NAALCP condemns the request for a dark ale or a brown bear as racist; the only acceptable beer for non-racists are light beers, next theyll be demanding all light beers be defined as MJ, Jackson or Mailto and anyone asking for a dark beer described as Racists.
Frack any member of this racist and privileged rights group. Maybe theyll conduct a Malt Liquor Summit, and set public policy for all beer drinkers. These Frackn two bit racist pussies, whores, c#nts and girly men who whine like the little bitches that they are, and will attempt to impose their views upon the rest of America as diverse thinking.
Until otherwise proven different the NAACP has publicly shown they are a front group for racism, ethnic terrorism and Islam; what more does America need to know other than they are not America, just interlopers looking for domination!
Yes, in beer choice, color is important.
At the “beer summit” Professor Skip Gates chose a Jamaican Red Stripe.
Officer Crowley chose a Blue Moon — also commonly known as a “white beer”.
Which is what got me started drinking Blue Moon.
