Jesse Ventura takes his complaints to the U.S. Capitol

Jesse Ventura has found two new reasons not to trust the government, and he's telling anybody in the halls of Congress who will listen.

The first bit of intrigue involves what he sees as the military's move to undermine his reality truTV series, "Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura," by not letting him film a stand-up in front of the Eternal Flame at the gravesite of John F. Kennedy.

The former Minnesota governor also claims the U.S. is fighting in Afghanistan to secretly secure a massive lithium deposit to make the world safe for cell phone, computer and electric car batteries.

"We're still buying that we're there to fight terrorism and the Taliban? Gimmie a break," Ventura said in a random encounter with a lifestyle journalist in a U.S. Capitol hallway a few days ago. "The whole war on terror is a red herring to get what they want. It's the lithium."

Ventura is “roided out”. His brain turned to mush two decades ago. MN is still trying to live down electing him as governor. But what the heck, they elected Al Franken Senator.

“”The whole war on terror is a red herring to get what they want. It’s the lithium.”

...reminds me of Vietnam era...remember the urban legand that Gulf Oil company had drilling rights there?...and that was the REAL reason the war was being fought.

Jesse was, at his peak, borderline schizo.

Now, the aging process and all those hits to the head during his staged "wrestling" days seem to really be taking their toll on the nutjob.

Jesse talked a pretty good line when he was running for gov.
And, as we have seen in other contests, in a three way race, anything can happen.

He’s probably confused it with Thorazine

—sounds like he needs to be taking lithium, not talking about it—

"But what the heck, they elected Al Franken Senator."

Actually, it's been established that there were enough idiots in Minnesota to make the race close enough that the election was able to be stolen on behalf of Stuart Smalley.

Liberals midset forces them to see humans (in general) as basically good. So concepts like "islam is a terrorist satatnic religion out to destroy everything that is good in western civilization" are impossible for them to understand.

Therefore there must be some other reason for going to war. And that reason can ONLY be evil capitalists.

Liberalism is a fatal mental disease

Ventura’s speeches were nothing more than “I ain’t the other two parties and besides that their ain’t any difference between them anyway”.

Deep politics, eh? There are absolute morons in MN allowed to vote.

Ot’s a shame he’s gone round the bend. When he was running for governor, he made a most memorable statement - “You should be able to wake up in the morning, and not notice the government.”

MN - ten thousand lakes, hundreds of thousands of Liberals, and not enough Conservatives to protect them from themselves...

And that there were more illegal votes cast by felons, unknown voters, and illegal aliens than smalley's "margin of victory."

Norm Coleman had been a DFLer and recently switched to the GOP. Skip Humphrey’s liberal bonefides were not in doubt.
In retrospect, Jesse was right.
