Oh, so you're a fan of giving the government rights not spelled out in the Constitution, huh? Why have a constitution at all? Why not just base the government's rights on a evanescent "social contract?"

No, I’m not a fan of that. I said ‘unemployment benefits by law’. That means being passed by congress and signed by the president, which have been elected according to the constituion. And then it has to stand up to federal court standards.

This isn’t about ‘giving rights’ to the government, they already have it in the constition to pass spending laws.
