I hadn’t heard that one. Pretty good line.
I have to disagree...I don’t think they fear us at all. We are a problem..no question about it but that fear of the American people has long since passed. It has been replaced with arrogance, cockiness, and discovery of how to force issues on us through unconstitutional means. They believe they are ‘bullet proof’. Frankly, I think we should show them otherwise.
Your Welcome.
PS glad to see Kennedy is still sober....:O) But a couple of rino senators got knocked out of their primarys and thats good...
Yeah...we kept it for 10 and look how we allowed the spending. They are so desperate to hang on to power that if November is a blow out, I think it will be a problem to get them out of there. They may have to be physically dragged out.
Collins..isn’t she in Maine?
LOL yes Kennedy is still sober but I bet he is very thirsty.
I'd like to see the Republicans take over the house if for no other reason than to pry that gavel from Pelosi...I think they would have to use a crow bar..
I remember when Gebheart had to give the gavel to Newt, he went to hand it to him and when Newt reached out for it Gebby drew it back then handed it to him...Peolsi will hit the incoming with it and run and hide...
That's the best laugh I've had for awhile...thank you!
Seriously though, you're right about Bush's failure to use the veto and it wasn't just with spending, but he should have applied it to the McCain/Feingold campaign finance reform which was so blatently unconstitutional that the veto should have been utilized.
Another fatal error was his failure to stand up against the relentless attacks. The brilliance of President Reagan was his connection to the American people and how he would appeal directly to the American people on TV for support. Bush should have learned that tactic because it would have served him well.
Now we are in dire straits and it's such a dangerous time for us...these people do not intend to leave...but like you, I would like to see the repubs win the house just to watch that gavel get ripped out of her hands.
I know... but I just had to say it... just couldn’t help myself! ;-)
