The Radical Religion of Abortion
First Things ^ | 7/7/10 | Elizabeth Scalia

Posted on 07/08/2010 3:37:41 AM PDT by rhema

[ . . . ]

And these secularist religions have their violent radicals, too. The Earth Liberation Front, a little irony challenged, has burned Hummers in an attempt to save the Earth from air pollution and deadly carbon. And some abortion-stalwarts say they’ll give up their lives to insure the right of every woman to procure violent death within her own womb. Antonia Senior of in the Times of London, who–to her immense credit–is utterly honest about what abortion is and does, visits the Tower of London; after pondering martyrdom, Senior identifies what she will not die for (dolphins, England) and writes:

“I could think of one cause I would stake my life on: a woman’s right to be educated, to have a life beyond the home and to be allowed by law and custom to order her own life as she chooses. And that includes complete control over her own fertility.”

[...]

Any other conclusion is a convenient lie that we on the pro-choice side of the debate tell ourselves to make us feel better about the action of taking a life. That little seahorse shape floating in a willing womb is a growing miracle of life. In a resentful womb it is not a life, but a foetus — and thus killable.

[...]

As ever, when an issue we thought was black and white becomes more nuanced, the answer lies in choosing the lesser evil. The nearly 200,000 aborted babies in the UK each year are the lesser evil, no matter how you define life, or death, for that matter. If you are willing to die for a cause, you must be prepared to kill for it, too.

Sick.

Twisted.

Deranged.

Perverted.

Delusional.

2nd Thessalonians 2:11-12 says, “And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Read it in its context.

It is an end-times passage concerning the coming of the Anti-Christ.

We must be getting close.

We certainly are closer everyday.

People who die for a worthy cause usually do not choose to die, and they really don’t obsess about it beforehand. This woman is self-absorbed. She thinks that the world is all within herself. She is endowing herself with the right to decide life and death for millions of others, but most importantly (in her mind) for herself.

She is actually ranking what is important and what is not in the world, with her own judgment and her own life as the gold standard.

This is all very weird. When you think about it, aside from its obvious moral corruption, her thinking is a complete abandonment of reality. That is one definition of insanity. I don’t think that she is insane in a traditional sense (clinically insane), but she suffers from the induced insanity so many modern intellectuals.

Leftist extremists hate life and want it to end. They attack life on both ends. The only life they like is the life of condemned murderers and terrorists.

Abortion is FIRST-DEGREE MURDER. We need to start treating abortionists an abortion services purchasers as murderers — subject to life imprisonment or execution as their states require.

>>If you are willing to die for a cause, you must be prepared to kill for it, too.<<

Utilitarian and relative morality cannot differentiate between a person giving up something that is their own as opposed to taking something that is not their own to take.

This is the difference between sacrifice and murder. That is why history differntiates between heroes who gave their lives so that others may live and mass murderers who died while killing others.

The movement euphemistically called ‘the feminist movement’ is a game designed by the evil one, to slaughter the innocent alive humans int he womb and partially out of it. Women have been seeking to rule over God since the Eden Garden. The only stretch they can make is to slaughter his precious gifts.

Romans 1
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Women 'Must Be Prepared to Kill' Unborn Children to Protect Autonomy: Times Writer

From the article at the above FR link:

But, she insists, "you cannot separate women’s rights from their right to fertility control."

Hence, she says, "The nearly 200,000 aborted babies in the UK each year are the lesser evil, no matter how you define life, or death, for that matter. If you are willing to die for a cause, you must be prepared to kill for it, too."

It is the great spiritual ‘bowell movement’ ... God is not mocked, though feminists smile to themselves and believe they have checkmated God by willingly slaughtering their own children. The history of humanity is rife with such foolishness
