The Wicklow Mountains Sex Beast, Larry Murphy, the suspected of killing, New Yorker, Annie McCarrick among other missing women in Ireland, will walk free from Arbour Hill prison, Ireland, at the beginning of August.
The suspected dangerous sexual predator and murderer was shockingly allowed to refuse any treatment while in prison. He will now be released and the Irish public will not be told where he will be re-homed.
Murphy was jailed in 2001 for the kidnapping and repeated rape of a woman from County Carlow. He is now the suspect in several missing persons cases in Ireland including that of New Yorker, Annie McCarrick.
McCarrick, from Long Island, New York disappeared in 1993 in Wicklow. Her body was never found. Her family spent a great deal of time in Ireland trying to piece together what happened to her but no information could be found. She was last seen leaving a bar alone.
Murphy has been questioned over the disappearances of Annie McCarrick and two Irish women who are also missing Jo Jo Dullard and Deirdre Jacob. He is a suspect in a total of six missing persons cases in Leinster from the 1990s.
Murphy was only stopped from strangling the Carlow woman, who was tied to a tree, as two hunters came across the scene and disturbed his vicious attack.
His refusal to take part in rehabilitation while in prison is, shockingly, quite normal. Arbour Hill prison holds 335 sex offenders. Only 67 of them have taken part in treatment.

Sounds like Ireland has its’ Mike Huckabees.
Words fail me. Hell, my thoughts fail me on this one. Unbelievable. “Model Prisoner” ...
How do you say “WTF” in Gaelic? Oh, it’s “What the F*ck” is wrong with their criminal justice system. Fifteen years for this animal? Should have been at least 25 and no parole - rape, false imprisonment, assault and battery, etc.
Something stinks in Ireland.
#1 Post his photo and crimes all over the net.
#2 Someone with courage will remove the gift of life.
Along with any freedom that they hold dear. Judges don't like vigilantes. They may do even more time than the perp.
True. Even when it serves justice.
Who are we to presume to do their jobs?
They went to lawyer school, for God's sake!
Only 9 years ???????????
Should have been 100 years for torture, rape, attempted murder, KIDNAPPING
and much more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well everyone
How are we gonna feel when he comes to kidnap torture and rape YOUR daughters, wives, sisters, moms ????????????????????
Personally, have never understood why 'attempted murder' is not treated as seriously as is murder - particularly, when every measure taken to complete crime. Had this man not been interrupted; he would have strangled his victim to death. . .indeed a blessing for her and other victims 'are the brink'; but it should not be a curse nor a guarantee that another victim will take this victim's place. . .at some/any point in time.
Perhaps if this became a 'tourist alert' Justice would find this perp. . .
Europe has very short prison sentences in a lot of cases.
Jailed in 2001... thats 9 years ago.
Europe needs to shape up in a lot of ways.
Compassion for the guilty is cruelty to the innocent. I forget who said it, but it rings quite true.
Ireland ping! Watch your backs, ladies, if you visit.
In Norway, its even worse you could be a mass murderer of the highest order and you can serve no longer than 21 years.
Wisconsin stinks worse! Exerpt from Milwaukee Journal - 2007 -
Forever a child in our memory, Lisa French would have turned 43 this weekend. She's the 9-year-old girl from Fond du Lac who was sexually assaulted and murdered by Gerald Turner as she was trick-or-treating in 1973. So much strife has followed because at that time Wisconsin had not yet figured out that someone who kills and rapes a child and stuffs her body in a trash bag should never walk free.

Hopefully the vigilantes are careful. Ideally, the "The Wicklow Mountains Sex Beast" will appear to have tripped, fallen and struck his head on a shillelagh-shaped rock.
