In a visit with Ecuadorian officials Secretary of State Hillary Clinton let slip that the Obama Administration intends to sue the state of Arizona over recently passed immigration laws. While Hillary's speaking out of turn may have forced the Administration's hand, a Justice Department spokesman confirmed that the DOJ was building a case against Arizona and would likely bring suit in the near future.
There is one puzzling aspect to this, though; if they thought this violated the Constitution, why didn't the Administration protest when Missouri did what Arizona is now doing?

So I'd look elsewhere for an explanation for this particular double-standard.
Obviously it has nothing whatsoever to do with illegal aliens ~ both Arizona and Missouri have them, and when it comes to customers for narcotics coming over that border, both states provide their fair share.
So, what is different?
Well, it's that BORDER between Mexico and the US. Missouri doesn't have one.
Arizona does.
And what is that border used for? Well, it's used to transport large volumes of drugs.
I don't think you need go further than that. Obama and his handlers simply don't want any more surveillance on the border than there is at present. Their "friends" want the drugs.

I wish this would be part of the Arizona immigration discussion to point out that it has laready been done in missouri so what is the big deal. If more people were aware Missouri has already doen it they would see the issues clearly.

My take on the lack of Interest in Missouri is the band wagon effect. The RATS need the Undocumented Democrats to swamp the polls. If the sheeple see that this law is catching on elsewhere or that the intimidation of Arizona is not working they stand to lose the one thing they need to stay in power. They can't just depend on vote fraud, people are armed and angry!
Many large banks make tons of money from drug money laundering. Read Catherine Austin Pitts. I think that’s her name. Read it elsewhere too. That’s why the so called drug war is phony. At the top it’s phony. Most drugs come in from Mexico. Even meth, the percentage made in the US is small. Even if made in the US it’s sometimes Mex drug gangs.
I think Barry0 has even bigger goals in mind on top of that. Open borders, dilution of the meaning of sovereignty and destruction of American exceptionalism. A number of issues intersect on that border.

I doubt Missouri could supply enough grateful new “naturalized” Americans that will vote democratic.
Obama is eying who holds the sluice gate of water that he needs to feed his crops. With Jan Brewer standing in his way he must for the very sake of his survival find a way to change her course.
My guess is that he will try to bribe her with some form of Federal candy offer, something that ordinary people would want, perhaps he will declare Arizonians will be exempt from Federal taxation....if they turn against Jan Brewer.
Obama is a scared rat in a bucket that is bouncing around frantically looking for a way out, he believes he is so omnipotent that nobody can challenge him.
And he will try something very radical soon.
I posted this for a very specific reason. If it became widely known that Missouri has the exact same law and it was implemented as far back as 5 years ago, it would become very obvious that there is nothing wrong with the law. Missouri has had no problems which means Arizona will have no problems.
It also shows that this has nothing to do with immigration.
In other words the law has already been implemented successfully.
