The chorus of artists against Arizona continues to widen because of the state's upcoming immigration law.
The Sound Strike announced on its Web site that Nine Inch Nails and Maroon 5 are the latest acts to skip Arizona in response to the passage of SB 1070.
The Sound Strike says a boycott is the most effective form of noncompliance with a law that threatens the civil and human rights of everyday people living within the state.
The group says it has become clear that to perform in Arizona, with this divisive and unjust law on the books, is no longer a neutral act.
The law states that an officer engaged in a lawful stop, detention or arrest shall, when practicable, ask about a person's legal status when reasonable suspicion exists that the person is in the U.S. illegally.

Yet again, fading celebrity artists jump on the liberal bandwagon cause du jour to jumpstart a dead career.

They are probably doing Arizonans a BIG favor.
Support Arizona - plan a vaction trip there and spend a lot of money supporting the local economy.
Anybody have a ksit of manufacturers in Arizona whose products we can buy and promote?
We should boycott these bands...plain and simple. The war is on.

Are these bands willing to take the results of their decisions? Boycott’s go two ways. If their music is boycotted, how will that help them?

Seem to recall some outspoken all-girl country band... Dixie something... Had quite a career going... Couldn’t manage to not alienate 1/2 the country. Think they’re still around, probably doing weddings.
So Arizonans will be spared a visit by Nine Inch Nails, sounds like another up-side to their new law.

Nine Inch Nails lead singer Trent Reznor is an avowed Satanist, so with allies like that umm who cares. Shows you which side of the law the Lucifer Lobby comes down on. Lucifer loves lawlessness, moral relativism and with most of the hoards coming across the border a mix of biblically illiterate idol worshiping CINOs, stealth Muslims or straight up Pagan native Aztecas just the kind of rabble he loves.
