Your UCT Medicare Supplement premium will increase substantially
soon. This increase will occur on your next policy anniversary date. You will
receive a 24.5% rate increase.

If you are not happy with this, pleaxe give me a call. I am with other companies
with much lower premiums for the same plan you have now. Feel free to call
at anytime.

Now, ... after I calm down ... I want to tell you:

My parents are on Social Security Income ONLY. (I help when I can)
My father's supplement is just under $700.00 every six months, BEFORE the increase.
My mother's supplement is just under $450.00 every six months BEFORE the increase.
Their combined income from social security is $1200.00 a month.

Now do the math.

My dad's increase will be $171.00
and my mother's increase will be $110.25.
That's a total increase of $281.25.
Add the cost before the increase and you get a total of $1,431.25.

Let's see ... what were those Communists Goals of 1963?

--education, social agencies, welfare programs, mental health clinics, etc.

I had purchased a private health policy for myself about 3 years ago. I received notice this past Saturday that my premiums will go up 61.00 per month. My father will be okay as he can make “Lincoln” scream but my in-laws will be hurt as well. They do have a little extra cash but it will not last long with these types of increases. God help us all.

Their house is paid for.
Their vehicles are old, but paid for, and run antique tags.
Their land is paid for. I help out fiscally, $400 or $500.00 a month in groceries,and other items.
Dad occasionally works at a saw mill, pulling leavers.
Maybe $200.00 or $300.00 about every third month.

Anyone who believed the crap about reducing healthcare costs deserves to be shipped to Venezuela. They had no intention of reducing costs. They don’t care if the elderly are made into poor people scraping by by eating dog food.

This is Obama's faulty, directly in cohesion with the DemocratsNational Socialists!!!
This increase is due to their new law, stopping increases WITHOUT the COMMUNISTS' PERMISSION.
So they do the increase BEFORE the law takes effect.

my parents made about the same in SS and had very little other income...so I know where you're coming from.....good people getting older and they seem to have got the short end of the stick money wise compared to others (unionist,govt workers,etc)

you're parents need to go for Medicaid....now maybe they have money...and several cars or houses...but its time they become poor.....let the govt hog pay for their health care.....they pay for all the illegals..

my mother hauled in just under $500 a month before she died, my father a little better at $700....he had some money put away....but he also raised 6 kids and gave us all a great start.....they lived very simply.....

Long time comin. Get rid of any new Social Security, don’t put one more cent into it. Buy private, they know what they’re doing, they’re operating under state law, and they answer to shareholders, supporting the free market.

And they won't take any help, if at ALL possible.

They don't go out, they don't buy new things.
They work hard just to get by.
The more you let the government into your live, the more control you LOSE!

I don’t think one can do that once they are over the age of 65 once eligable for Medicare.
